Okay, well, I have one vote to proceed with the story. Since it looks like everyone is away, I'm thinking about just holding back and telling it later. But you know, I'm just feeling like I should spill it now, just to see how well everyone reads this thread after the weekend. Here goes....

One day not all that long ago, Kim went out on the town. She arrived at this establishment and was warmly greeted by the operators of the facility. Hmmmm... she may have had on those leather boots, but I'm not sure. Anywho.... she is led to an area where things begin to get steamy. Lotions and oils are pulled out, then applied. Massages and finger rubs using all sorts of techniques are used. Twisting, contorting and various other "maneuvers" are, um, performed. After enduring and enjoying this complete experience, Kim leaves the "establishment" after paying for the services. And for those of you who guessed she got a perm, you, fellow Dis'ers, are the most astute folks out there. Yes, it did make her hair kinky. I must say, it looks great on her. Then again, she's a cutie anyway, so perm or no perm, she looks great! And I'm not just saying that b/c I'm her Padawan. I gotta admit, it was kinda fun to watch everyone's initial reaction to the term Kinky Kim! LOL! You guys made my week that day! And my thanks to Kim for allowing me to share this story. Thanks Kim!!!

Well, my work here is done. Time to go watch a bit more football & wait for everyone to read up on The Thread With No Point.

Looks like a quiet night. Just thought I would stop in before going to bed.

My DH, made it just in time for Senior Parent introductions last night at the football game. He missed dinner but the AD's secretary brought him a plate of food later. We were lined up for introductions when he got there. The photographer ran over and got our picture.(I didn't want to take the picture with just Chris and I) It was such a rush. I remember hearing Chris's name, then our name and they told a little about his high school sports career. I got lost in the moment and didn't hear much for the next few minutes. I couldn't believe the amount of students and parents taking pictures, waving and yelling our names. It was definately a proud parent moment. Also, the evening turned out beautiful. Around 6:30 it stopped raining and the sky cleared up. What a great night.

Today was DS last cross country meet. Can you believe that in the three years I have not taken his picture nor did I video him running? DH asked me where the camera was and I couldn't believe that I forgot it. What a bad mother I felt like. Then I realized that dear old dad hadn't thought of it either. Oh well, there are pictures in the year book, so all hasn't been lost.

So Kinky Kim is really kinky. Loved all the anticipation leading up to the story. Thank you Yensid for making our week. Now for some dirt on other DISers.

Kim, is Cameron feeling any better? I hope he can go back to school on Monday.

We just got back from dinner with DH's aunt and uncle. It is so nice to visit with relatives. DH's mom died 4 years ago and this is her youngest brother. He had some wonderful stories to share.

Well, I better get going. Hope everyone that is camping is having a great time and for those of us that stayed home, I hope you have sweet dreams.

Yes, I am such a sucker and spoil my babies with gifts They do have their own stocking and I almost bought them new ones that I found that were too cute. I figured though that Luis would not be thrilled with me if I did that though I am lucky that I do know my babies birthdays. Cleo was bought from a petstore that my neighbors owned and Gwen was a part of a litter that a my sister's friend's roommate's sister's cat had. If I didn't adopt her, she would have gone to a shelter So I knew her birthday and I met her when she was only 4 weeks old and took her home when she was 8 weeks. Both are pretty precious to me and right now Cleo is on my lap and Gwen is right behind me

Necco wafers??? How cool I haven't seen those in ages!!! (which is why I had spelle them wrong so much) I'll have to go check out my Walmart to see if they carry any

Betty, it sounds like you had a great night with your DS and all his sports acheivements! Definitely something to be proud of.

Betty, Cam does seem to feeling much better now. He's in that irritating coughing stage now. He's on cloud 9 this morning, because he was allowed to rent a Game Cube game. This thing is weird! It runs on real time even when it's shut down. He was out of bed umpteen times last night checking to see if it was daylight yet, because he wanted to be up at the crack of dawn so that he could see the game when all of the characters started waking up. What dimwit thought that game up?!?! All the kids in the country will be up day and night taking care of these stupid characters now... it's like the Gigapet thing all over again. OYE!

Your evening with Chris sounds wonderful, Betty!! I'm glad to hear Steve made it in time too! Oh! Don't you just hate it when you realize you've failed to get pictures or video of something special!?! I've done that SO many times! I just want to kick myself when I do that!!! Hopefully they'll be some good pictures in the yearbook of your DS!

Elaine gets another Dis meet to her credit and I've yet to attend even one. Sigh. I'll need to head over and check out your pics Elaine! Hey Everybody!! Camper number one checking in!!! Had a WONDERFUL time although it was WAY too hot during the day! Cold front blew in last night though and I woke up in the middle of the night zipping tent windows shut and sleeping bag zippers tight! We made rockets and raced them, "captured" spider webs on paper, fished with bloodworms and hotdogs, hiked, cooked over a fire (Camp pizza is a yummy thing!) and ended the day with 8 filthy little kids around a campfire, tummies full of smores!! Life gets NO better that this!!! One of my Cub Scouts was sitting at the picnic table eating his pizza and he sighed and said, Now THIS is the life!" I call that mission accomplished! Now a shower is calling my name...really loudly!...and the garage is full of "camping junk" to clean up and get ready for next weekend BUT....First time for an update!!!

Boy these camping stories sure make me glad that I stayed at home in my happy little house all weekend

Okay a little story. Some of you saw a while back about how I cut my hair and colored it right? Well stupid me loved the casting color I had used and thought I could make it a perm color if I used this "soft permanent coloring" they just came out with. WRONG!!! My hair was red! I mean RED!!! Years ago I would have loved it but I was not into being red! So I did a few dye jobs within a short time and toned it down. Well I saw the roots coming in just over two weeks later and I saw the difference... still way too red (I even used an Ash Brown and that still had red tones to it ). So I figured I had it! I went and bought the same "cheap stuff" I used in high school & college to dye my hair and colored it back to "Natural Dark Brown" Stupid story I am sure but the moral of it is just because you pay more for coloring doesn't mean it is as good as the old stuff you were used to How's that for a boring story on a Sunday night?
