Jennifer you make great slushies!!!!! Thanks for making a batch. There was one sitting by the computer when I got in.

I subbed today(very good classes) and then went to volleyball game. (Allison had a very good game) From there I went to the walk in conferences for school(saw 4 of Chris's teachers). Tomorrow morning are conferences with appointments. I have 6 scheduled tomorrow starting at 7:30 in the morning. What was I thinking? Anyway, by the time I got home the phone was ringing off the hook. Today is DH's birthday and all 7 of his siblings decided to call me to check on him. For those that are new here, my DH is in NYC on a 10 week project. My brother and aunt in Chattanooga called also just to talk. I was on the phone for 2 solid hours. I was using call waiting, caller id, and the answering machine all at the same time. My ear is so tired.

It must have taken me 30 minutes to get updated. I feel so out of the loop. Glad we have a newbie here. The Queen of Freaks should fit in nicely.

I am so tired that I can't make any more comments about the thread. Forgive me. I will check in tomorrow when I have more time.

If any of the campers are still up, I hope that the weekend goes very smoothly and you have great weather.

Good morning everyone! I'm keeping Cam home another day. He's not THAT sick, but I've had it with the whining. Geez! You'd think the kid was being bullied at school or something. He's not. It's a very small school, I know all the kids there extremely well, and all of his classmates are great kids. He's just a lazy poop, and is overwhelmed with trying to catch up from being out for two weeks for the Disneyland trip. Actually, this works better from the school work standpoint. He gets more done at home than he does at school. I can slave drive him here where the teacher can't. Soooo...it's another day of me saying: "Get back to work Cameron" about 500 times, then it's off to town to do a few errands. I suppose if I were smart, I'd work out too. *Sigh*

Just wanted to check in and say hi to everyone who is not camping. I am on my way out the door. Tonight is Senior Parents Night at the Football game. The school is providing dinner and then we are introduced with our senior before the game. It is raining here, so we are not staying for the game. Hopefully, Steve will make it from the airport in Dayton in time to stand proud with me holding on to Chris, our favorite senior. Hope I don't cry.

Will try to check in later tonight but if I don't then everyone take care and stay dry if Lily(Lili) is affecting your weather.

I hope you stay dry tonight Betty, we had some awful rain & wind here this afternoon and it is supposed to continue through midnight at least.

Not much exciting here. Our furbaby, Gwen, is 2 years old today and so we got her a few toys (and one for Cleo so she isn't left out) and a special dinner. She is loving it and I can't believe how big she is!

Did Cleo and Gwen enjoy their goodies, Elaine? You are too cute, buying birthday gifts for your babies.... you're as bad as as I am. Do your girls have Christmas stockings? We have one for every animal we've (well, except for the goats. ) had. I always embroider their name on the top of the stocking, and then, every year, they're all hung on the stair railing. The babies that are still with us get a treat in their stocking.

Good morning everyone! Just returned from Saturday morning errand running and Walmart. Thought of you helenabear, when I was in the candy aisle getting Halloween candy and lo and behold, what do my wondering eyes see, but huge bags of Necco wafers!

I am guilty of buying gifts for my furbabies too, but only at Christmas. Since most of them are rescue animals, I have no idea when their birthdays are. Except Storm, but since we don't give the rest of them birthdays, he doesn't get one either. It's funny to watch them sniff around the Christmas tree to try to find out which package might be theirs. Worse than kids, I tell ya!

Off to do the housecleaning here shortly. Have a great day everyone!
