:cool1: I can't believe I only have 20 days until we leave!:cool1:
This is my first trip report but I've been lurking and learning for a long time. Here's our cast, and then I'll add more details later.

We are going for 10 days; half crazy, typical Disney touring, half RELAXING!!! Yes, we're going to try to relax in Disney. :rolleyes2 :rolleyes2

New Resorts (we've never stayed at them)

10/1-10/3 we're going to be staying in a studio at VWL, my parents will be in another studio, same place
10/3-10/10 2bedroom value at AKL

:earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: Our cast of characters for this trip:earsboy: :earsboy:

Me: :wizard: Disney crazy stay at home mom, full time student, who has been planning this trip with more detail and care than any other. Desperately trying to make it different enough and relaxing enough that DH will come back soon.

DH: :surfweb: Computer programmer :surfweb: who likes Disney, but probably hasn't needed to go 4 times in two years, but he needs a vacation so badly at this point that there are no complaints.

DD3: The "good girl" The :cheer2: BIRTHDAY Girl! :cheer2: Disney spoiled and loves it, she will turn 4 half way through the trip, but we'll let her celebrate the whole time.

DD2: "our ticket to heaven" She has been to Disney 3 times, but was too young to remember it, so everything will be new to her :yay: And I'm pretty sure she'll be scared of the characters, but I'm hoping she'll surprise me.

Grandma: My mom and the woman who instilled the Disney love/craziness in me. She's already getting a little nutty, and her nuttiness can get annoying but we all love her.

Papa: My dad. He's been to Disney 8 times in the last few years and swears he hates it, but is more excited than anyone for MNSSHP; he'll be the 7' tall vampire. Yes, he's really that tall.

So that's us in a nut shell; 4 discrazy girls and the boys, who are discrazy at heart but complain all the time about going.

Other firsts for these veterans:
MNSSHP
Food and Wine Festival
1900 Park Fare Breakfast
Custom birthday cake (wish me luck)
BBB
Mickey's Backyard BBQ
Whispering Canyon (kinda new, only went once when I was a kid)
Le Cellier (No, we've never been, we're V&A snobs, but money's getting spread around this trip)
Many days of relaxing planned.
Blizzard Beach
Fantasmic dinner Package (We're gonna see if this really helps to cut the wait down.)

Off to figure out photobucket... more updates and plans to come. I need help with how to plan a relaxing day. Is that an oxymoron: planned relaxing day? :rotfl2:

Now we're down to 3 days, and I still have to:
  • Print and iron all the custom t-shirts
  • Finish DH's Captain Hook Coat.
  • Make sure there's enough food for the house sitter
  • Ship my box of diapers, snack, liquor, etc... down tomorrow morning, first thing. I swear!!
  • Clean out the car
  • Buy not-so-drowsy dramamine(can't sleep when you have two toddlers on the plane, other folks don't like that :rotfl: )
  • I'm sure there's only 1000000 other things that I should do, but I'm almost so overplanned that I don't know what they are.

Thought I'd give a quick run down of the dining plans and other such.

First 3 nights on the Deluxe Dining Plan.
Day 1: Not too early of a flight this time, cause continental bumped us around 4 different times!!!
lunch: will be hungry by then... Flame tree if we can wait to get to AK, otherwise CS at the lodge.
Whispering Canyon for Dinner just cause it's been forever, and it's at the resort.

Day 2: EMH at MK and we're at VWL, so we're gonna be there!!!

Breakfast in the room or at CS at WL, we'll see.
Crystal Palace 11:30am, after emh at MK
Then we have Mickey's Backyard BBQ that night. ***Any tips on this would be greatly appreciated!!!***

Day 3: Not up too early... then passports at EPCOT
1900 Park Fare at 9:30. Haven't been there since it was a mickey breakfast years ago.
Princess lunch at Norway at 1:30ish, I think. I'm going to go check on that. Hoping and praying that Belle is the lobby greeter because dd2 is in love with Belle. And Mulan better show her face, too, cause that's the kid's other favorite :)
DH and I are going to the F&W festival that night and will just stuff ourselves on "snacks" and drinks.

Day 4: Day of switching resorts. And going to regular DDP.

Maybe WCC for breakfast before checking out of VWL.
I think DDT for lunch, probably wolfgang puck express cause I love it, but keeping with the theme of the "try new things" trip, maybe Earl of Sandwich. (but the line is always so long.)
Boma for and early dinner, and exploring the hotel.

Day 5: DD4's Birthday!!!!!

BBB at 8:50: DD4's birthday
CRT at 10:10am traditional birthday meal for everyone, even grandpa. Will be getting chocolate slipper dessert (must call to order tomorrow.)
Chef Mickey's at 5:50, but we're going to show up closer to 5:00pm and pray that they seat us. Still going back and forth about a custom cake. DD really would love it, but I've read so many mixed reviews. (must call tomorrow and talk to hotline folks)
MNSSHP: it's our first and we're SOOOO excited. Not food, but I thought I'd share. We plan on getting heaps and heaps of candy.

Day 6: The RELAXATION BEGINS.
Mexico for lunch, but that's debatable... we'll see how everyone feels after the late night.

DD's are going with PaPa and grandma to Garden Grill.

DH and I want to go to Ohana around wishes time, but haven't had any luck scoring a spot. Maybe Kona, or back to the FW festival.

Day 7: The kids first Fantasmic show.

Dinner is the only ressie: mama melrose dinner package. Yah for app included!

Day 8: EMH at MK again, so up early!
Where are the yummy french toast rolls or whatever that everyone talks about? That's breakfast!
Hoping Mara is good, cause that's the lunch plan
DD4 has the tea party at 1:30
Hopefully back to MK for the parade and fireworks... Cosmic rays for dinner, maybe.

Day 9: We're almost done, but not quite!
Lunch is at Hollywood and Vine; heard the food was bad, but the kids love the shows. If dd2 ends up being scared of characters we're cancelling this one :)

Dinner: Finally going to try LeCellier. Can't wait for the soup and pretzle bread!!!

Day 10: Oh no, it's over!!
Boma for breakfast.

Something in MK for lunch, then off to home.

That's it for now. I'm going to try to keep a live update while we're there. It seems like it's going to be WAY hotter than I was thinking, but leave it to FL to give me wacky weather.
