Ed, we saw Teresa today who is our DUL agent and confirmed she and several others do in fact book the Fort campsites.

What I mean is that the Fort Campsites are not listed (or weren't fairly recently) along with the other resorts on their website for vacation quotes and packages. Sure one could ask but why was it left off the list in the first place? More of the red-headed step-child syndrome I guess. But nm.

About half the sites have these big stone fireplaces. All are different. Some are very unique. The sites without fireplaces have fire pits in the ground. Makes for a great atmosphere.

Needed to do a little work for some month end closing while I has on vacation. It is supposed to rain most of the day so I decided to take care of it now.

I could have a worse office.

@Teamubr i was looking to stay at Anchor Down on the way home from PA. You said the internet was good so stay the week and work. The only problem is it is booked .

If TN is a good stopping point and you need good wifi I found The Ridge Outdoor has phenomenal wifi, could even stream without issues. Not as pretty as Anchor Down, though we enjoyed the views of the mountains.

@jbrostek thanks for the recommendation because yes that stopping point is pretty good for us. It would be 8 hours from PA and then 4 hours to home. I will check it out to see if i can get a spot. The wifi is the part i wanted to know since i would plan to work a few days and then come home.

Glad I could help. When I was there it was very robust, they have an AP about every other site running Ubiquiti gear. I was fairly impressed on the setup, and I never seemed to have bandwidth issues. Hoping to leverage that ability myself in the next year. We will see, it seems every great idea I have had for us has been crashed with another obligation or logistics of the kids with their dad.

It gives me some comfort to know that WHEREVER @Teamubr and company are in the world, at this very moment, somewhere, we are BOTH probably watching the Cardinals and the Dodgers in the Wild Card game tonight.

My Cleveland Indians' season is over (no playoffs this year) so I am looking for SOMEBODY to root for.

It gives me some comfort to know that WHEREVER @Teamubr and company are in the world, at this very moment, somewhere, we are BOTH probably watching the Cardinals and the Dodgers in the Wild Card game tonight.

Yes I was. Sitting outside, overlooking Douglas Lake. And then we went to Reyes to get us to the 10th. He was brilliant the first half as a closer, but clearly lost something after the All Star break. We had several other options. I get recognizing players that performed well through the season, but tied in the 9th in a 1 game playoff wasn't the time to reward someone who has performed so poorly in the last 2 months.

Oh well, we made the playoffs again. On to next year.

Maybe I can even try to catch an Alabama football game.

Crazy to have such a streak only to see it come to an end so quickly. Although, I have to admit that, as a Brewers fan, I'm no exactly heartbroken!
