It cycles through different colors each time it is activated, there are 8 colors. i can use a MB or push the button on top, it even plays the music when activated.

They got this one off of Etsy. But a google search will turn up a lot more, and also the ones that look like what Disney uses.

We had a busy weekend. Which basically meant it was a painting weekend. Though only painted Saturday and Sunday was errand day. We got the master bedroom, closet and hallway painted. While we only had to do 2 coats, the first coat used a lot more paint then expected and we had to go get more before we started the second coat. The master had the high ceiling again which is much harder to paint. Curtains are back up but still have the lights to install.

The good news only 2 ceilings left to paint, the normal height one in the kitchen which has to wait till remodel happens. That leaves one ceiling for this coming weekend. The living room, which is another high ceiling, but less area to cover. After that all we can do is start painting doors before the remodel. Looking forward to putting painting stuff away for a little bit. The only bad thing is Friday is our second shot so hoping we can at least get the one ceiling done even if it is on Sunday.

As for the calf I went for a walk in the park on Sunday and it felt good. I biked yesterday and today i did the elliptical. I felt the calf a tiny bit when i first started but it was good the rest of the time. Planning to not run this week. Originally i was not going to run next week and have my first test be a bigger, harder hike on Sat May 8. I should probably stick to that plan, but then it is one more week of not running. Will see.

Painting is not fun, unless you are like me and dont mind it. I have to say for most its up there with cleaning out the garage and basement for favorite activities. Your at the finish line now. And when your done the leg will be mended!

@Sjm9911 I am with you i don't mind the painting but painting ceilings is hard because it is all over your head and the high ceilings means i have to get on a real ladder and not the step stool. I will be happy when we finish next weekend. i agree my hope is when the ceiling is done my leg will be in good shape.

I always paint ceiling first and have a 5-9' extendable pole I use for the roller. I found it much easier to cut a wall then the ceiling.

Last weekend I was solo at the racetrack. The track was fun, but I Was still achy and tired from getting the second vaccine shot. I guess it worked well when it rained Saturday night. I didn't feel up to socializing around the fire and the rains made it easy to just stay in.

This week I need to fix the zero turn, the clutch on it broke in two. I have the parts but if I don't do something soon I will need to pay someone else to mow the lawn again.

Not sure I am ready for any cruises. But I do think they did an amazing job on that ship.

This week was mostly dealing with the zero turn. When the PTO clutch catastrophically failed it sheered the bolt off in the crank. This week I took it to the shop hoping to extract the bolt. All efforts failed to extract the bolt out of the crank and sadly there is no easy way to drill, fill, then retap a crankshaft. With a fresh crank costing 300, plus another 150 in parts I was likely better off finding a used motor or investigate on a fresh repower. The mower had already been repowered with a used unknown hour John Deer riding mower 22hp Briggs (it had a kawasaki on it from factory) by the previous owner. The work was so bad that I got the mower for cheap and spend a week or so and about 300 bucks taking it from a completely basket case to a useable mower and ended up putting 30 hours on it. Their repower bypassed ever safety allowing the PTO/blades to stay engaged in most cases, but a new wiring harness and some patience I got it back to using all factory controls.

The mowers is a commercial model with only 560 known hours on it means it has lots of life left. Buying a new mower equal to it would cost about 5-7k, and with all that in mind I chose to repower the mower. And after some digging and talking to my local Exmark dealer it was worth repowering it with another briggs motor. They found me the best motor to properly repower it with and come up with all the parts I need to make it happen. All told for about 1k I will have a new 25hp motor, all the bolts and the harness adaptor to plug the motor into the exmark harness. All in told I will have about 2500 into this used mower, so I will still be ahead vs. buying a new one. It sucks to have to spend the money, yet at least it is less then a new mower would cost me.
