The Dis weight loss Pledge weigh- in week 2

This is very unfair as all most of us are measuring is weight going down as we have bigger targets than the ones we have picked for now. I wouldn't let it bother you just add up all the pounds in total. Don't give up . It is so easy to get demoralised.

I've just got back from weight watchers and I lost 1.5lb this week, making 7lb over the last 2 weeks. 3lb still to go on this pledge.
 
3lb lost here this week also. Makes 5 in total out of 12 pledged. Hopefully I can keep it up. Good luck all!!

Didn't lose anything this week but I suspect I have put on some muscle as I've been going on the cross bike for about 20 minutes every day (might not sound like much but I tend to do shorter periods of REALLY going for it). I do feel healthier and better in myself since I've been following Paul McKenna's golden rules. :worship: Haven't had a chance to try out the thing to get rid of cravings yet but I was amazed at how easily that woman got rid of her cola addiction!!

Actually, I'm craving a Creme Egg right now so I think I will give it a go. :rotfl:

Congratulations to everyone who lost this week, and to those who haven't, don't lose hope! :grouphug: Still plenty of time yet. :)
 
Weighted myself this morning and have lost 4lbs this week, so a total of 12lbs so far :cool1:

If it's OK, I'd like to change my pledge to 18lbs, giving me another 6lbs to lose in 4 weeks.

I did my celeb fit club weigh in last night, I started at 13st 10lb and despite my massive fluctuations during the week I weighed in last night at 13st 6lb so a total of 4lbs off, I'm not sure I believe it tho' as I seem to fluctuate so madly.

Carol, is that not including the 5lbs you lost in the first week? Just checking what to put you down for when I do the totals on Sunday :confused3
 
no, sorry that went off, then on again and more besides!!
I'm registering my starting weight at 13st 10 and now I'm 13 st 6. That'll probably change even by tonight though!
can't see what I'm doing wrong :confused3 am being very good, no snacks etc and no booze for weeks but I still fluctuate like crazy
 
Carol, perhaps you're not eating enough. I'm no scientist but your body will store food when it feels like it's being starved. Usually, when I stop losing weight, I eat a bit more for a couple of weeks to kick-start my metabolism again. If you like, I can let you have some examples of what I have been eating in a week so you can compare?

Thanks Jen, they have now arrived panic over, apparently i can put in a pass code so no-one else can see my details :upsidedow, luckily my weight was the same this morning on both sets of scales! ( and i had lost again :banana: but will try not to get on them again till mon)

stayed the same, though actually the full story is put 4lb onh over the weekend then somehow managed to rescue something the rest of the week. Gill

Yes its fine to change your 6 week pledge if you are near the total pledged!
well, i have just got back from ww and have lost 6.5lbs :faint: i have been very good but never expected that much :eek: my total is now 7.5lbs
well done to everybody who have lost, and keep going if you havent done so well, you WILL get there!! :hug:

I have reached my total Jeanette - and if I don't change it, I will lose my motivation :) Well done on losing 6.5lbs
