The Dis weight loss Pledge weigh- in week 2

:cool1: I lost 4lb this week so 5 in total!! really pleased with this as i have not been on a diet as such ( i know it wouldn't last and i would put more back on) just following The Paul Mckenna rules and eating more healthily as well as a new exercise regime.
Dh has promised we can visit Mickey and friends in may 2007 so now i have a definate long term goal. I saw so many fantastic clothes last year but was so dissapointed i couldn't get anything to fit me. i have told myself i cannot book anything until i have lost as least 3 stone! so i am now going to put ds in his pushchair and walk to the shops in the rain ( 1.5 miles)


Well done to those who have lost and good luck to those who have yet to weigh!!

another tip is to freeze grapes, they taste like sweets when frozen :hyper:

We started on the Thursday (5th I think) but have decided to weigh ourselves on a Sunday, so our total so far (counting it as one week as it was only just over ;) ) i have lost 4lb and Dh has lost 6 1/2lb. We have cut out all the goodies but I have been following Paul Mckenna and eating when hungry but not over stuffing.

Congratulations everyone.

Carolfoy, when you exercise you are building muscle and muscle weighs heavier than fat so hopefully if you measure yourself you may find an inch or two missing. :)

ITA I've been doing this for years, very yummy!!! also nice in drinks!
 
I've tended to avoid grapes as they are loaded with sugar. FIL who is a diabetic knows his blood sugar goes through the roof after even only a few grapes.
Maybe I should consider this tip :)
 
Hi I started on the 9th and I have lost 3lb.

That was weighing on our old scales, had to get new ones yesterday afternoon as old scales died on Sunday but the new ones weight me at 5lb heavier :confused3
So from Today I'll use these and only count the weight I've lost not look at the big mean total weight

Oh Karen, thats a bit disappointing! I weighed 3lb less this morning, honestly I'm like a yo-yo! we'll have to start again from scratch.

forgot to add, its celebrity fit club tonight so I'm up against Sharon from GMTV to get 3lb off
 
The annoying bit is I can feel I've lost the weight as my jeans are more comfortable but those new scales don't think so but what do they know!!
 
Another 2lb gone. (Pledge was 12lb - now 6lb still to shift!)

Dh came home last week and told me he had ordered new scales from weight watchers, these apparently record your last six weigh ins!!! they are due today but he cannot understand why i am not that keen to use them :scratchin . i just don't want anyone who uses our bathroom to be able to find out how much i weigh, inc dh!!

Yep totally understand that!! My scales record the weight but what I do is after I have weighed myself I just weigh something else so it cancels out my weight!
 
Welldone to everyone :) Everyones doing so well. I lost 1lb this week and DH lost a further 2lbs :cool1:

We did pig out on saturday as it was FIL's birthday :teeth:
 
Weighed myself today, lost 3 lb this week :cool1: . So that is 5 lb in the first two weeks, 9 to go in 4 weeks :faint: .
