The Dis weight loss Pledge weigh- in week 2

2lb lost this week :flower: which is better than 0 from last week. This is going to be slow going I think (still snacking instead of smoking). Well done to all the fantastic weight loss going on, really impressed and jealous ;)

Had my first weigh in yesterday.
Lost 2lbs which I was really pleased with.
I have 11.5 lbs to lose over all, and another 4 lbs to lose over the next 4 weeks for my little 6 week target that I set myself.

Well done to everyone else who lost this week too.
And to those who didn't, don't worry, there's always next week!

Couldn't bring myself to post this til today even though I went to Slimming World last night - I put on a pound. :guilty:

I only managed to lose 1.5lb last week, and I have just put 1lb of that back on, meaning I have only lost half a pound in 2 weeks, 9.5lb to go. Have started exercising this week so hope it's just the building muscle thing. Thought I had been really good this week.

Hopefully it will just be exercising that has caused that, the first time I did SW and started exercising I found that I only lost a couple of pounds in the first weeks, the SW consultant told me to check my measurements and sure enough I had lost several inches off my waist and hips! A couple of weeks after that the weight suddenly came off and I was very happy!
 
I really hope so! I will go and take my measurements now and keep an eye on them - hopefully I will notice a difference by the end of the 6 weeks.

Lost 1/2 pound this week. I'm pleased with this as I get nearer goal I know that it will get harder to lose.
 
It is generally the case that you put on a bit of muscle and hence weight (muscle weighs more than fat, as you might know) when you first start exercising regularly, but once it's levelled out a bit you should lose enough fat for it to start showing up on the scales. :) I do sometimes reckon that it's more accurate to measure your waist and hips than to weigh yourself! ::yes::
 
I weighed in at work today and stayed exactly the same.Still have my 4lbs to aim for. Thanks for the tip about measuring Emma I might try that too !

I bought my first pair of skinny jeans today. They are a size 8 and although I can wear them I think I will need to lose a little more weight for me to be happy in them.
