Our wedding day.. hmm, it was cold and blustery. Opening weeekend for deer hunitng so some of the guys of the family were not there.

We showed up, listened to a few pieces of music, talked about vows.. told the minister what to say to announce our new names... and off we went down the aisle-- feeling Justin move for the first time, yep it was sweet and silly at the same time.

My inlaws wore what we would call casual clothes, MIL's current man thing wore overalls.

My family wore sunday best, guys in dress shirts and tie, my dad in a suit.

I can't remember if I wore makeup or not.

Our best man had a broken shoulder, fell asleep on a motorcycle, his arm was in a sling.


Found out a few months later, the minster was accused of cheating on his wife and took money from the church budget. He was dimisssed by the church (non denominational-- my parents went there at the time).

I think that is the sweetest wedding story I have EVER heard. How totally wonderful! What a beautiful thing to happen at such a special time.

Been there, done that. At least I wasn't there to witness it, but it's almost worse that way, hearing about it. We left Ds3 with the ILs for the first time, just for about an hour because we had an errand. When we got back, she had apparently decided to take DS3 (I think he was 1.5 at the time) for a walk, didn't hold his hand, walked him to the fenced pool area while she smoked a cigarette (!), and he just ran right into the pool.

omg i totally hear you ...i cant let tristan out the door without holding onto him...he will dart out in the street faster than i can swear...and its all about peek a boo with him...he runs to one side of the car and then to the other peeking his head out and laughing and when he sees me getting close to him he laughs and runs the other way

And we only have 6 years until they are both done with school Now that's scary ladies!!

no whats scary is that I have a couple people here as old as me and a couple older than me and mine is grown while all of you still have young kids...that is scary

Head cold. Plus... he SAYS the kids kept him up all day. I think that he was just having breathing issues... I have seen Mikalah jump on him screaming, and he slept through it.
