Exactly! I totally agree!

Though... DH did mention possibly doing a Disney cruise sometime. I was totally stunned! I think it would be awesome, but will obviously have to be after we're sure DS3 won't go running off the end of the ship. :sad2:

oh alex....let me tell you what...your boys would absolutely be in heaven on a disney cruise...the things they do for and with these kids is absolutely amazing....just to give you an example....

for ds3 he would have storytime AND playtime with Peter Pan and Wendy and Capt Hook
especially because the oceaneer club is done up like never land and they have a ship the kids can play on
treasure hunt for musical instruments in Sebastian's Musical Sea Search. When the instruments are found they get to play in a band concert

for ds7 he gets to have a pj party with goofy and they have a lab to make flubber...its amazing

but it is a lot easier to take them there, as opposed to someplace that isnt fun for them. We wont be going back for a while, and I am totally cool with that. Its just nice to be able to go to one place, and have a nice vacation there. Besides... and DONT hate me for this... I think I am getting burnt out on Disneyland. :scared: DONT HURT ME!!!:flower3:

You guys did go a lot last year, 3 times? Or was it 4? I'm a little worried that DS7 is getting bored with it. Not bored, really, but all he wants to do is ride rides. No characters, no shows, no parades or fireworks. I love it all, and try to do a little bit of everything on each trip, but it's like the place has lost the magic for him, it's just an amusement park like any other. :confused3
I'll be curious to see how they like Maui. We love it there, but it's definitely not a 'thrill a minute' vacation like Disneyland. It's more laid back, relaxing and go with the flow.

4 times since October of 06. So yeah.. I think that with Alex it has totally lost the magic for him. On our first trip it was great.. everything was so new, he was so impressed. Now? He gets all sassy if we dont go on all the rides HE wants to do. Kinda spoiled with it.

But he is very excited to go see some ghosts at Alcatraz!:lmao: :lmao:

Phew! I know, dh and I were just talking about it. I think I would like to go to WDW and see that, even though it scares the bejezus out of me... So big and all that planning.. but I dont mind not going back to DL for a while. Maybe 4 times in a row like that was just to much.

pshaw...i go that much a year on an average....yeah your right though ...disneyworld takes long long time of preparation when you've never been there...you cant even compare between DL and wdw...the distances to get from the hotel and the parks is crazy...and its alot more money imo than DL...i know some people say its not but it is...Ive seen that commercial for 4 people at $1600 and its a good deal but AS resorts are a bit aways from the parks it seems and unless you get into pop your gonna wait for buses forever....we are going to stay 2 nights in ASMusic ...Im trying to get the family suite...they book up fast...but the rest of the time we are staying in boardwalk villas

Oh yeah, I have priced it for us.. It is way cheaper for us to go to DL. I dont know when we will go to WDW, probably not anytime soon. I have an issue with the beds they have there. In the mods and below it is only double beds. That is a killer for us, we absolutely cant sleep in a double bed. I know it is stupid, and such a small thing... but it really frosts my cookies!:lmao:
wow, that would be an over the top experience..scarey! and incredibly unique.

Totally scary!

now see the sun is starting to go down....and its 6:45...very windy and its dropped down to 64º...now 5 hours away from me in anaheim its the same temperature as here just not as windy...but i totally would be wearing long sleeves right now

I would die. Thats it. I would just fall over dead.
:rotfl2:

I got a link to the article via email from my aunt. My mom asked me about it when I talked to her. Both she and my aunt said absolutely no way, but seriously. People were strapped in tight with like a 5-point harness, and what a view they must have! Not sure I'd do it (well, certainly not for the money they were talking about!), but not sure I'd say no if the opportunity were just handed to me, either. :confused3

And yes, I'm afraid of heights, but strapped in??? Who knows. As long as the crane weren't in Earthquake country... :rotfl2:

exactly, I priced it out before and found that with lower air fares from Sun Country (they do direct flights into LAX, cheaper than Northwest/Delta) , and Entertainment rate (or even Priceline) it is more economical to do a california vacation than WDW from MN.

And yeah, we have to fly or waste two days getting there and then have a day without hubby because of dialysis.
Hoping he gets a kidney some day.. I can wish right?? And not deal with all that anymore.. this round of being back on dialysis has not been good for him. He's called in sick many times this year..
