Hey, here's a question:

We've only gone in the fall (twice) and Feb (once), so I was wondering what time the sun will be going down in late April, and how quickly the temp drops?

I'm asking because the boys love to hit the pool in the evening, and I'm thinking the temps have to be better in April than in Sep/Oct! :lmao:

im back...that was quick huh? i think i can answer this one for ya...as far as sun going down...it starts dropping about 7:00-7:30and its dark by close to 8....the temps actually start dropping around 6 or so...as to the pool thing...no its actually warmer in sept at night than it is in april...granted the way the weather has been this week it may be ok and again you guys think 65 is warm enough to swim:headache: but I imagine the coldest it will get is like 57 with the exception of when the park closes at midnight...then it will be colder...andrea and i were just talking about that last night...i told her that i probably wouldnt even have to use my gloves this trip at all...i had to use them only a little bit in feb. and one night i ended up taking them off completely and all i wore was a sweatshirt jacket...which is probably what I will be doing this trip...and i will be wearing shorts or capris during the day. Im normally cold...not as bad as shawna but i dont wear shorts in 70º weather but we always add about 5-7 degrees to whatever weather.com predicts and go with that...so based upon that, I will definitely be bringing some shorts along...

Yes, I know! :yay:

I forget who we flew last time, it was in 2002. Alaska's direct flight is fairly new, right?
yep
No, I don't think so. I vaguely recall going on a military vessel with a little boy, can't remember if it was DS7 when he was little, or maybe one of my nephews. It was all he could talk about beforehand, but then actually on the ship he was, "Ehhh." :confused3 :confused3 :rotfl2:

Not sure if the boys would love that or not, I'll see if I can find something about it and review it with them. :)
Hmm... The have one of the pirate ships from Pirates of the Caribbean there. That is a huge hit!:cool1:

We do not go swimming when it's 65! :lmao:
Well, OK, the boys probably did, but they were back in 15 minutes and DS3's lips were blue and his teeth were chattering. :lmao:

But 70 in the sun, we're definitely there! I guess when we go the park usually closes at 8, so it's usually around 8:30 that they hit the pool. I'm not sure if we'll leave the park that early if they're not closing. Guess we'll just play that by ear; I definitely will NOT be going to the pool at midnight! :headache:

I recall being made fun of for freezing my rear off at breakfast when I met you! :lmao: :lmao:

OMG, you're kidding! Ds7 and DH would LOVE that! :rotfl2:

Where did you hear about this? Is it something I can read online?

And i told dh I will probably be bringing capri's for all the days and he reminded me I need to bring my sweatpants at night. I said "No, I dont want to do that I dont think" and he said my 6 inches of legs will freeze right off. Maybe I should bring Tube Socks! :lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: Now THAT is a fashion statement!:lmao: :lmao: I am bringing capris, and tees. I might wear jeans on the plane.. but then again, I might wear capris. I dont know yet.

Hmmm most of the ships seem more local, dont they? But you cant beat seeing the Lady Washington. How cool it that? :cool1:

I know, I saw the Lady Washington listed and wondered if that was the ship we toured? But I'm sure it was on the Seattle waterfront, and I'm sure one of the ships was military also. If it was late 80s-early90s timeframe, that would have been my nephew; obviously DS wasn't around then. :rotfl:
