No, I didn't know that. I'm not likely to get out there anytime soon, though.

My FIL asked why we always go to the same spot for vacation, first Maui several times, now Disneyland. I know I get "blamed" for a lot of things we do that he disagrees with, but I love to travel and see new things, so I told him DH likes the familiar, he likes knowing what to expect, only wants to go places where people speak English, so that sort of limits our locations. He was telling me we should go to the Caribbean, to Mexico, etc. I said, "That all sounds great to me, but he's not interested. And we do enjoy the places we go to, obviously, otherwise we wouldn't go."

They go to Mexico, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Europe. Must be nice, but it's like he really doesn't know his son very well. Kinda funny.

Are you kidding me? He sneaks them out of the fridge all by himself now. One day I found FOUR containers strewn about the house!

oh no sorry...castaway cay is disney's private island that they take you to on the cruise....

i hear you about the travel thing and if you are ok with going to the same places as your DH then it shouldnt be an issue for anybody kwim?

but it is a lot easier to take them there, as opposed to someplace that isnt fun for them. We wont be going back for a while, and I am totally cool with that. Its just nice to be able to go to one place, and have a nice vacation there. Besides... and DONT hate me for this... I think I am getting burnt out on Disneyland. DONT HURT ME!!!

Though... DH did mention possibly doing a Disney cruise sometime. I was totally stunned! I think it would be awesome, but will obviously have to be after we're sure DS3 won't go running off the end of the ship.

Phew! I know, dh and I were just talking about it. I think I would like to go to WDW and see that, even though it scares the bejezus out of me... So big and all that planning.. but I dont mind not going back to DL for a while. Maybe 4 times in a row like that was just to much.
