well alison, if all that keeps you from going is needing to use a scooter and rest alot... you know Im totally there with you...I have some great relaxation places I know about that most people tend to go right by because they are so busy to get from ride to ride...I am SO not going gangbusters...I was telling that to bernice...I go so often that I dont need to ...Im happy just to be there and chill out and enjoy going on like pirates and soarin and stuff like that so keep that in mind yeah?

I hear that! It has me concerned as well... I have 4 flights coming up in the next month, and I dont want any of them canceled!

I think the airline stranding is mostly American Airlines, though who knows what will happen with others.


Frontier just declared bankruptcy but plans to keep flying.

Crossing my fingers that Sun Country is doing ok That's what we are using for the inlaws (already bought the tickets).

I bet you will get a bit more energy back after a week

The boys and I love hanging out at the outdoor fireplace of the Grand. Early in the morning no one is around.. very peaceful and cozy. Gives the boys an excuse to slurp some hot chocolate.

i HAVE to tell you guys...its freakin hot here it was 83º today and my arm got blistered from driving home today...it hurts like a mofo and its soooooo red...ive been putting aloe vera gel on it since I got home

It's nice to stand around the fire and slurp hot chocolate, but quite another to have to pull up your sleeping bag because the airline stranded you!

The Albertson's by my work is shutting down on April 17th. They are the ones that always had great buys and lots of clearance stuff. I checked out their online ad and headed there on my lunch break yesterday and the store was nearly empty. They had everything that was left at 50-75% off. I found a few things, but I was quite shocked. So shocked that today at lunch I was forced to go to Walmart for lack of anywhere better to shop!

That sucks.

In the Twin Cities we have Rainbow Foods, they would double coupons every couple of months... PLUS take expireds.
Gritty stores sometimes but decent deals.

They got bought out by Pic N Save (Roundy's) brand. Kept the name, closed abunch of stores (fun shopping though at 50% off plus coupons!) and re-vamped to a more elite style store.. as in : let's jack up the prices and have a starbucks in the lobby

Stopped shopping there, even the loss leaders were not enough to lure me in as they became hyper coupon police. UGH

hmm, come to think of it.. there was rumor that they would be sold again

we were here in August last year-- holy moley! Poor kids were beat red and soaked by the time they got home. I would crank the AC the half hour before they got home so they could cool down faster.
