Uh-oh, they said over the weekend! I-5 and 99 into Seattle. He'll be at UW and also lecturing at the Arena, I think. I don't know where else he'll be.

Oh, and DH bought a puppy on Saturday

DBF brought me home a new kitten the other day. I think I told you guys that my Katie Kitty ran away...She was the black and white one. We named this one Pearl.

Pshaw... I didnt get one! Tortillas, I mean. Ihad the button.

Oh, I got a bag on my birthday too. This past June was the first time I have gone to DL on my actual birthday. It's usually the weekend before or after.

Whats new? Ok well tonight at Science night at Jake's preschool they did the mentos in the diet coke trick on the lawn. Well Jake wanted to sit on the grass so I placed him so I figured he wouldnt get wet. None of the spray had thus far reached that spot.

WELL THIS time when he sat down to watch it the cap didnt get screwed on tight enough and there was this one stream about 3 inches wide that went shooting out 20 feet right at him. It also went up but no where else sideways. His teacher and I were laughing so hard because it was like that coke bottle was out to get Jake. he was the only one sitting for about 20 feet on either side and it bee lined for him so he needed a bath tonight when he came home.

Then we went to Costco so I could get some more Motrin and we ate pizza there. I ate only 1 piece! big deal for me lately.

Costo pizza is the best. DBF and I like their Mocha Freezes too.

15 days!!! I cant believe that!! 15 days until I get to see you guys!!! and go to DL!!!!

I'm super stoked to meet you all in person. But I have to admit I'm a little nervous too. In person I am really quiet especially around new people, but since I've been chatting with you guys for over a year I think I'll be okay. I just hope I remember every ones names.

Gray, cool, snore... But not raining!

The cutest thing EVER just happened! I took DS7 to school, and just as we were walking up to his classroom door where the kids line up, the bell rang. So he rushed into the end of the line while DS3 and I stood off to the side. The kids were chattering away about having a sub, and I'd just heard in the office that someone was looking for the woman who'd been there sub most of the year (because DS's teacher was on maternity leave; she's been back about a month.)

I asked the girls, "Are you guys having a sub today?" They were so giggly! They said, "Yes!" altogether.

I asked, "Are you having Mrs. T as your sub today?" And they squealed, "Yes!" They were practically vibrating, they were so excited!

Well, apparently a few kids saw her coming toward the building, and they started shouting out her name. She went in at the other end of the building, so they started chanting her name, like a football play: "13! 29! 54! 37!" and then when she stepped out of the classroom door, they went NUTS!!!

They rushed her, all 20 or so of them, and she was so surprised, they almost knocked her over! Wow, that was a group hug like no other! Rock stars got nothin' on Mrs. T!!!

So told them she was so happy to see them, and so happy to have such a lovely greeting. She was looking forward to spending the day with them, but they needed to all get back in their line and get ready to enter the building quietly.

Like a dork, I had tears in my eyes, how embarrassing. DS7 misses her so much, and so do I. She is just the sweetest person, and a great, caring teacher.

So DS3 and I are off to the book store to spend his gift card, and also pick up another book DS7 ordered.

DS3 is also begging to to Black Bustard. You know, the place where you can rent Scooby Doo DVDs? Took me a minute...

As for the meet, we're all so excited about it! I haven't met everyone, but over the last 2 trips met quite a few. I met Staley, Shawna, Pix, Dizzy and G in October, and Andrea, Lynn and Sam (and G) in February.

It will be fun to meet almost everyone all together! And I do hope we can get a group picture, that would be awesome!!!

awwwwwwwwwwwwww what a lil cutie, all fluffy and small.

oh don't worry about meeting us in person, it was awkward the first time but we hit it off famously. Each time I meet up with someone.. the friendship gets stronger. I haven't got to know Alex or Tinkermell too well yet, hoping we have a chance to chit chat more. Looking forward to meeting you!

MAN, no kidding! Each time I was pregnant, and especially during delivery, DH was a wreck! He used to have these horrible nightmares that I would die during the c-section, it was just awful!

He'd hate going to sleep, then when he crashed he'd have a nightmare. Once the baby arrived he was so relieved everyone was safe, but dead tired and no sleep in sight with a newborn in the house!

Good news for me is I like DH's mom better then my own , and knowing that Dh would be a wreck I told him that if he and she wanted to, she could be there (the last thing I needed was him freaking out on me, and she does a good job keeping him in check )

If I'm remembering right, Percocet gave me a humongous tummyache. Ixnay on the Ercocetpay! But thanks anyway.

Sent it my way then...I had such awful migraines OTC stuff don't work for me anymore....just don't give it to DH...last time he took it he was seeing little white bunnies

I used to take DBF vicodin for my migrains but my Dr. gave me Imitrex on my last visit. I haven't had to take one yet so I don't know how they will work.

DBF was given percocet after his last shoulder surgery but it didn't seen to make him loopy or anything. I think his body is so used to the vicodin that he's been on and off of for the past 2 years.
