I would HATE to blind you all. :lmao: :lmao: I will have my capri pants on, but that is as short as I get. No one wants to see my big ole fat stumps.

we can show em off together :upsidedow actually, I don't own any shorts right now. Couldn't find any that I liked.

Too short and expose it all --eek!

Or legs as wide as a house, makes me look stupid.

I have cropped capris, there's something to wrap your head around. Almost Bermuda length.

I am horrid at putting on makeup. I wish I was better at it, but no.. Its just not my thing.
OMG, when I was going to my 20 year reunion, I'd put on several pounds, plus DS7 was only 11 months old, and I was feeling really self-conscious. So my DSis and a friend talked me into having the friend make me over for the big event.

First, I chose a summer pantsuit that was this bright blue color that they said looked good. It was pretty, but turns out the blue was NOT GOOD ON ME. On top of that, the friend, who is very good at applying makeup on herself, used HER colors on me, so she used a deep berry-red sort of lipstick and dark I-don't-even-know-what colors on my eyes, and thick, thick mascara. OH! And I had a perm just before going, so looked like a damn poodle.

I look at pictures from that event and I kid you not, I don't ever want to show my face to those people again! I looked HIDEOUS!!! I look like a fat smurf hooker poodle!

I'm certain you did not look all that bad but this did make me laugh.

My mom never really wore make-up, just mascara and lipstick, so I never really learned how to apply it. When I started working, ALL the girls wore full make-up, so I scrambled to figure out enough to fit in, but I never really got the hang of eye shadow and shading, so I'd just apply a thin layer of color above my eyeliner.
Go treat your self to a make-over from Sephora!! I love make-overs. I just had one on Sunday from the Laura Mercier line. I'v been using it for years and love it. I wanted to try her new mineral powder line. Supposed to be better than Bare Essentails. Anyways, I bought it, and tried myself for the first time this morning. I have very very oily skin, and so far not too bad. :rolleyes1

Shawna how is your mom? Is she feeling better?

Much better, thank you for asking! She started walking tonight when I was over there. I think she knew I was anxious to get back to Jake so she just said let me try and it didnt hurt her. She's even off the pain meds now. so things are looking great! It will be awhile before we know if the surgery was successful though.

I have very oily skin, too, plus I'm allergic to a lot of stuff. It took me forever to find a mascara that didn't make my eyes itch, and my skin breaks out easily. I don't moisturize (I know, it's a mortal sin!) I used to use a Clinique foundation that was great, it was for those with sensitive skin, but they discontinued it and I sort of gave up.

I really want to try them out, but I havent yet. I keep thinking I should just order some from QVC.

OMG YES have you seen Leslie's presentation? She totally got me hooked. It takes away all my pinkish coloring to my skin! I LOVE it and I never feel like I have it on! :thumbsup2

Its expensive but it lasts forever.

I don't wear makeup either. It causes pimples and makes my skin dry.
