I know could you imagine!? There was some guy on the news from Jersey the other night. Talked all tough and with the accent. I totally pictured him in one of the novels.

Yeah, one of my cousins married a guy like that. I thought he was from NY or Jersey, but apparently he was from Rhode Island.

yeah tell me about it....andrea has it in her head she will be able to get round trip tickets from vegas to orlando on thanksgiving day night for less than that...I told her she's crazy so I let her be the one in charge of finding our airfare I do like us airways schedule though...can leave out at like almost midnight and fly all night and it will get us to orlando by 7:30am...thats pretty darn good

That's the same flight I took all through my college years! I remember it so well. i would leave here an hour earlier, have a change of planes sometimes in Vegas and head to Orlando and get in at 7:30am. I loved that flight. Just dont want to do it with Jake. This will be the first time he has been on a plane...well since being an infant and he's really excited about it. Luckily he can be occupied pretty easily witn an Ipod and coloring books.

I'm updating the spreadsheet I use to keep track of all my trip info: reservations for airfare, hotel, car, restaurants, phone numbers, etc.

I seem to recall someone said they had a new phone, but I can't remember who it was; is it Staley? Or you? I'm not sure I have the right number, whoever it is...

I always wonder the same thing. But I figure if they're still fighting a fever, sleep must be a good thing, so I let 'em sleep.

Thats what I do. If they are sick.. they need sleep.

I found it somewhere on the site. April 18. then I saw it on a Southwest Vacations email that they could only book through Aug 22 but any vacations after that through Oct 30 could be booked as of April 18!

All the other airlines have theirs open. Just waiting on southwest!

What I like about them is that I can get my money back and I have a shot at getting a sale flight. I am planning my dates to depart and return on Tues and Wed and they will refund me the difference if a sale does come up.

Can you tell I worked at an airline for awhile?

We're dreading a bit the flight to Maui in the fall. DS7 might get a little bored, but DS3 is going to be a pain in the neck, I think. It's a 6-hr flight. He can color for a bit, read books (be read to), or play a simple videogame, but beyond that he starts to whine and get antsy. We do pretty well now on the DL flight, but something twice that long is gonna be loooooong.

Mikalah is wearing panties today... I know she can use the potty, she knows when she has to pee, and can totally hold, so now we are potty training.

wow thats way cool....then you should help us out with that for our trip next year...we are kind of looking at things this year to give us an idea for next year...

I'll let you know what I end up with. Since i'm going over fall break I'm buying them no matter what on the 18th then watching sale prices and the DING popup to see if anything cheaper comes up.

I would think Las Vegas and Phoenix should be about the same cost. I know every now and then Southwest has their $99.00 coast to coast flights. Doubtful over Thanksgiving though!

I approached DH about it briefly (his head was full of work crap at the time, very poor timing) and first he said fine when I mentioned going to the pool or DTD that day.

Well, actually the VERY first reaction was surprise, then I got annoyed because I TOLD him we would be blacked out on Saturdays before I booked the trip, and he said we'd go to the beach or something that day.

So anyway, I was surprised when he said hanging out in DTD would be fine, because he hates to shop!
And as much as the boys love the hotel pool, they're not going to want to spend all day in it.

So I asked him about it again, and he suggested we pay for "two of us" to get into the park that day. Honestly, I thought he meant me and DS7, because he always naps with Ds3, but I said something about that didn't make sense because we wouldn't spend the day together. Then he said, "Well, you'll be at your ladies thing all morning, then DS3 is gonna need a nap, so it makes sense for two of us to spend the day in the park..."

OH! He meant DS7 and he would get in!

Sooooo... Let's just say we need to revisit that topic of discussion.
