I feel like Ive been so out of it this weekend. Besides running around to soccer games and stuff, trying to catch up on work, and then we changed our computer over to a new one today, I have hardly had any time to check in.

Hope everyone is doing well....and ready for another week (how does a long weekend go by so fast????).

Hey guys... How does 1 extra day off get away from you so fast? DS's school had an open house (observation day) today so I went over for a little while this am. He has PE on Monday's so I'd asked him what time & he said first thing after "morning work". So I went just before 11:00. Guess what they have from 10:20 - 11:10? Yeah. PE. OK, so then they go back to their room & it's time for Chorus! So they have over 1/2 of the 5th grade in Chorus so they don't have any instructional time during that. OK. So this was a wasted effort. All they did was reading and / or homework during that time.

Left school & went to Kohls...I wanted a new pair of jeans & a top for this weekend when us Mom's go out to the bars this weekend at the beach...I am NOT a low rise / below the waist kind of Mom any more! Jeans these days are so hard to try on...I must've tried about 8 pair!

OK, then on to pick up my new glasses. Well, actually, I'd gone on Sun. to pick them up & ended up trading in the pair of RX sunglasses that I'd bought 'cuz I wasn't happy with them - so that's what I was picking up today. OK, so then I decided to go ahead & order another pair of reg. glasses different from the others that would give me the opportunity to "accessorize". My decision making process SUCKS people! I am so bad. And all of the glasses these days seem like they're so narrow (vertically). So they don't leave enough room for the progressive lens. Very hard to pick a frame that will fit my RX. Anyway, finally settled on one & they said they would be ready this evening at 7:50. OK, so I come home, work outside in the pond & cutting down flower beds for a few hours, blah, blah , change & go back. NOT READY! Waited another 45 minutes! OK, so called Papa Johns on my way out of the store (Redskins Monday special - 8 free toppings this week) and stopped to pick it up. Just now finished dinner. Bad, bad, bad Mom!

Now need to go watch Heroes! Hope the TIVO worked OK this week!

BOO Yosemite!! Are her games at Yosemite High School? Do you have a tourny schedule yet? You gotta drive right by the ranch to get there! Perhaps I can meet you up there if you know the tentative schedule. That is if'n you are driving up there.??
