Gotta agree...93, bring on the beach! Im really getting bummed that summer is almost over. Its sunny here today so I may need to lay out to soak up some last minute rays. I think the pool is too cold for me to swim in, but Ill take that sun while I can.

OK, I am so trying to figure out how a BLENDER can be that too. Sounds a bit dangerous to me!

no, that's strictly the college "kids" - of which I have to things to say:
1) it's really sad when people make such a bunch of fools of themselves that people on the other side of the country know about it*

2) it's also really sad that to me college-aged humans are "kids"

*this is unlike us. Yes, fools we make of ourselves, but no one knows about it except those in the immediate vicinity. Thank goodness.


Son made it back yesterday. No apparent damage. Although I hear it may take weeks for any psychological scars to surface. His only comment so far: "I didn't see anybody out of the ordinary at Berkeley. No one looked weird, Mom. There were kegs and mason jars all over the fraternity house lawns though. I guess Cal won their football game." (mason jars? who drinks out of a mason jar? And why doesn't my 14 year-old find this strange???)

My dad took him "to where your mom lived and had her first drink" (married student housing at Stanford - and I was 3. OK - now you get why I was nervous about T going anywhere with my Dad. Nice guy, but who has a party and let's their 3 year-old freely walk around, even if it is layed-back 60's????) Holy crud!
