Katie - glad the knee is OK - have a drink for me too!:thumbsup2

RJ - looks like I will be at the ranch this weekend.:woohoo: Wanna meet up!?
MIL is driving me down Friday night and I will be there until Sunday afternoon! We could hit RiverWalk for Linden's first ever shopping trip - or just do lunch - or you could come to the ranch - or ?? I won't have a car and since MIL just bought a new Explorer not sure she will let me drive it but I can try to get it for a trip to "town". That or she will have to join us. Let me know what your schedule is like.

Cheri - Love the artwork. You so talented with that. Can I get a t-shirt even if I am not going!? PAH-LEEESE.

ATTENTION ALL:

IF YOU OR ANYONE YOU KNOW IS INTERESTED IN A BUYING A NEW CAR/TRUCK AND MAY BE CONSIDERING A FORD, LINCOLN, MERCURY, VOLVO, MAZDA, LAND ROVER, OR JAGUAR. PLEASE GIVE THEM MY EMAIL ADDRESS

THE BUYER IS ALSO ENTITLED TO ANY SPECIAL FINANCING OR REBATE THAT MAY BE OFFERED ON TOP OF THE SPECIAL PRICE. IT ALSO DOESN'T ALLOW THE DEALER TO CHARGE DEALER FEES. I ALREADY HAVE A FEW HAPPY CUSTOMERS THAT YOU KNOW.

Very cool...I had wanted an XC90 a couple of yrs ago before I bought my Pilot - but couldn't swing the price difference...now I'm locked in for a few more years...not quite as snazzy looking but it was a good purchase...that's cool you have that pixiedust: ability!

Caught up on the laundry this evening and went thru a lot of stuff with DS for his outdoorsman badge stuff...how to build a fire...how to put out a fire safely...all the crap to pack for camping (he was surprised about the idea of bringing TP:laughing: !) He also has to pack his own bag himself - so he'll do that tomorrow evening. He made his list tonight. Very cute... With the way the forecast is looking I think we'll get wet at some point for sure...just hope we don't have to pack up a wet tent on Sunday!!

:woohoo:  :thumbsup2

Hey, guess what?????

Our cruises are now less than 12 months away!!

 :sad2:

Ok, this sucks!

It DOES suck - but when I called them the guy told me it's a 50/50 shot whether or not it will be required - and that they won't know (tell) for sure until we're on the first cruise & we check in at Guest Services! I'm thinking it really probably is a security / customs thing....being that it's apparently random & all....but at least we'll get to get (almost) right back on - or at least before the regular new guests!! Is there a bar in the terminal?! Maybe we could pass the time with some Mimosa's?!

Seriously,

the whole thing with the B2B (at least for me) is to NOT get off the ship..if I have to get off and reboard with everyone else..that sucks..especially since I won't be in Group 1..I have the same room..I will just hide in there..THEY CAN"T MAKE ME GET OFF!!!

This sucks dog water. The whole idea of doing the back-to-backs is to make it into one long cruise! This policy is almost enough to make me consider an alternative plan. I guess we could still store our luggage in Phyllis and Paul's suite, and be back on board by 10:30... but dang it, I want to just stay on board!

But if they make us get off the ship, TZM and I could always drive into town for "supplies"! :drive: :drinking1

Hey, it was just a thought.

I say we change plans and do the Magic in September..when it is about $5,000 cheaper!!!:lmao:

No can do. We still want to take our kids with us, and they can't go then. :headache:

Maybe we scrap the whole idea and go stay in an over-the-water bungalow on Moorea for 2 weeks!

Or not.

Annie - I'm pretty sure there will be ample mimosa supplies in one of the rooms (and isn't there just a snackie shop in the terminal? yuck) - let's grab those big red plastic cups that everyone thinks only holds lemonade, fill 'em up and stroll around until they let us back on my boat.

Or better yet, have a private chat with the con-cee-er-gee the night before. Maybe some of the Mr.s could persuade them to let us stay WHERE WE RIGHTFULLY BELONG Just a thought...

Beano - why you want to go leaving the terminal area and risk who knows what?

Bets - if you're with us, you'll be in group 1. Or wouldn't there be a group 0 for the B2B'ers?

Hopefully everyone on the B2B's before us will be good little boys and girls, cooperate, show up in guest services like they are supposed to and we will get to stay on board. <fingers crossed>

Look! (ok, I was bored last night watching Suite Life of Zach and Cody)

we need more peeps to fill it out!

Hi Again!

Yesterday I was so rushed, I never went far enough back to see Ms. Linden Rae's announcement. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Shes adorable. I love the name too!

When I logged on I saw the info on B2Bs. What a bummer! I too was thinking of changing plans. For now I think we are staying, but only because we can still leave our luggage in our room. That better not change. :(

Well we are off to the pool now. We have been at the MK since 8:00 and we are HOT! I hate the last day in WDW. Its so sad. :(

Oh sure...NOW ya'll will cancel & leave the rest of us in the lurch!! Hope TiggerandPooh, SueEllen & CamColt hang in there with me!!:goodvibes The whole idea stinks like some kind of farm animal poop but if it's only for 90 minutes so maybe it won't be THAT bad (and since it's a year away it may or may not happen)...

So why do you say you won't be in Group 1 Betsy? I don't think the Group thing will apply to us at all. It sounded to me like they just want to clear the ship and then we can get right back on - like with a special pre-boarding status. But it was my understanding that the 3 nighter people won't be able to get on until like noon or 1:00 or whatever - so we'd still get on first!!

Did anyone else call DCL to ask about it?! Some other back-to-backers must've ruined the whole thing by not checking in at Guest Services like they should've or by getting in the way of stuff that needs to be done by the crew. Something has prompted this move. What I found really odd was that the CM that I spoke to said it's a new policy but that it's not mandatory on each & every cruise! So I said then it's totally random like if we look suspicious or something? And he said it's a policy but it's not always the case - so I said then it's not really a policy if it's not 100% of the time...and so we kinda went back & forth over it for a minute... I'm not sure if even the CM's know the real reason behind it......:confused3

Do I have to be the rational one here? We can do this! I'm sure of it! Don't fail me now peeps!!! (Cheri is planning to lay really still in the big bathtub so they don't see her - I think that plan could work....)

(PS) The Sept. vacation thing doesn't work for us either....and I would LOVE to go to Tahiti or Bora Bora or Moorea one day.... I have priced Tahiti thru Costco a few times...but so far it's just a dream. They have direct flights from NY..... I also tried to see how we could get there from Hawaii last year but it got too complicated & long....One day....one day. (We can trade out to Fiji with our DVC membership....may have to start with that one in a few years!;) )

Ahhh...the big red plastic cups...know 'em well...know 'em well...they used to always come in handy at the (very boring) scout events - then I think they caught onto us...they switched to diff. cups last year (clear)!!:lmao:

door signs for all of us (with our room numbers BIG so hopefully they won't be taken)

will work on the "you can't make me!" signs. I hope I won't get the "dreaded point" sanctions from SE or Katie as I tend to get rather snotty with those things (gasp! not you, Cheri! with your sunny personality?:lmao: )

and Annie - we just got our first cat. 1 . We'll make it work. BEANO'S NOT BAILING not without a huge a lot of crying and guilting from me:rolleyes1
