Awww...dem Croutons are cute!!

And yes, Beano, slackers is why better than losers!

Annie - my brother is in Fredericksburg - how far is that from you? We are planning a trip in the spring time.

I need to post some pictures too! Now...where is that camera!?:confused3 :lmao:

So scattered these days.

OK - new baby name of the week: (are y'all getting sick of this game yet?)

Brenna.

Discuss.

Trzm using Ophie's logon.

I shoot good pictures. Don't I? I think so. It helps to have a kick butt camera to use. I just zoomed pointed and shot. No big deal Hope all is well with everyone.

Love, Us

Agree - the Croutons win the blue ribbon for best picture of the day! (RJ - hair looks great!) Yes - someone besides Beano & I need to post some pictures!!:thumbsup2

Fredericksburg...hummm....It's been awhile since I've been down that way, but I think that's probably say maybe an hour & 15 min. or an hour and 30 min. (or so) away from where I live! Maybe like 70 or 80 miles. Not too bad. It's all the way around the beltway then south down I-95. We're going to go to Kings Dominion in VA sometime in July & we'll have to go that way - I'll try to pay attention & see how long it takes to get to that point!! Depending how long you're here maybe we could hook up somewhere!? 70 or 80 miles is a lot closer than what, 3,000 miles, right?! :rotfl:

Brenna...I like that one...do we know what we're having yet or are we just looking at all options!?:goodvibes (Hummm...Have you ruled out Mickey & Minnie yet?!:sad2: )

Hi guys! Welcome home! Sounds like ya'll had a beautiful wedding & lots of fun...
(Yes, point & shoot is a good thing!)

Annie,
I'm just South of Richmond. My husband was working up in Stafford for quite some time (but he's finally back in Richmond now.)
Kings Dominion has some great coasters (we used to spend a LOT of time there) but over the years the people there have gone down (either that or WDW has really spoiled us to service and atmosphere.) We do venture over to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg every so often as well (both are just under an hour away from us.) Takes me about an hour and 15 minutes to get to Fredricksburg (give or take a few minutes.)

Johnna, I went to school with a Brenna, and I haven't heard that name in a long time. It's definitely unusual.

Beano, that's a great picture of you all. Everyone looks fantastic (and I LOVE Le Cellier.) Steve & I just had a really nice lunch there in May.

Another HOT, HOT, HOT day tomorrow.

Oh, went to see Ratatioulle on Saturday (there was a sneak preview at the theater.) It's really cute.

Now I'm back to work

Well, as far as local parks, 6 Flags in Landover, MD is the closest (only 45 min.) but the last time we were there let's just say we weren't thrilled with the quality of the other customers.... :rolleyes1 So that's one reason to drive down to your neck of the woods...but don't tell me Kings Dominion has gone downhill too...are you talking about the staff or the customers? It's been probably 5 years since we've been down there....last time DS was too young for most of the rides....now he's hit 54 inches so he s/b able to ride everything I think! Well, dunno about Shock Wave since you stand & have to be able to straddle that seat...but the Rebel Yell is a wooden classic!! Anyway, we have complimentary admission tickets - so that's one reason we're going there over Busch Gardens... We haven't decided if we'll take a day off to go down (then have to drive in am rush hour around the beltway) or if we'll just go on a weekend.... Do you think driving in rush hour on the beltway outweighs the crowds on a weekend?!

Annie from what I remember of the beltway...:scared1: Not so sure - maybe leave at lunchtime and spend the night:thumbsup2 then come back at lunch time.:thumbsup2

:yay: Hi TZM & Ophie! Congratulations! Beautiful pictures.

And yes, we know we are having a girl. Really liking Brenna this week. Still like Quinn had to throw out Shea as DH cousin just used that as a middle name for DS #2.

Let's see...what else. Cranky today. Gonna need some caffiene. Not sleeping well. DD is at grandmas and I got a message from her last night "I am having some sort of reaction, I have never felt like this before I feel weird. Can you call me back":guilty: Still waiting to talk directly to her - MIL says she thought DD was just itchy from playing with kitties in the grass. But then I found out she fell off the rings on the swing set.:headache: DD described the reaction as "feeling like I have splinters in my arms and legs" Hello!? Asked MIL if she perhaps fell on her head or neck!?
Reply: "I don't know I did not see her fall" :headache: I am thinking she gave herself a stinger. And I am fighting the urge to drive 2 hours to check her out. "Oh she was not complaining when she went to bed and now she is out like a light" I asked the MIL to go in and make sure she was still breathing and call me in the morning.

The funeral I was to attend today is postphoned until next week. Apparently the veterans cemetary needs time to process the paperwork?

Guess it's just another busy day around here!:thumbsup2

OK - just spoke to DD - she seems to be OK. Says she fell off of the rings and landed on her behind. "splinters" feeling is gone. Neck and back are not sore.

Will wait to see if she is sore tomorrow or day after. She is not reactive to grass normally but guess we will see.

I am guessing she rattled her brain whenst landing on tuckus.

OK - off to begin my day. Can you say Starbucks! Orange Passion Iced Tea is my new favorite.:thumbsup2

I just contacted Imagestation and found out they have 2 servers down. So, that is my excuse for not posting pictures. It should be resolved in 2-3 days. ;)

Keep us updated on tinkryan (I assume she's Ryan). That must be scary to hear that when shes so far away. Just what you need. Yikes! I'm sure she will be fine, but its just one of those scary mom things.

I like Quinn a lot too. It is very close to my maiden name. ;)

Youre good! You posted the update before I asked. :thumbsup2 Thanks! ;)
Glad to hear she seems to be ok.

hi everyone,

beano and crew glad to see your all having a good time in WDW, we wish we were there.

CamColt: Was wondering what part of Ma you are from because we are going to be at Plum Island in Newburyport on june 30-july 7 was thinking if you were close to there we could have a pre cruise meet and greet

I hope DD is OK... I hate those kinds of calls. It seems like I'm never there when DS gets really hurt!! When he was 4 my MIL calls & first thing she says "Are you sitting down?" Uhhh. No. Why? "Well we think Jared broke his arm." You THINK he broke it? "Well, we know he broke it." Where is he now? "The ambulance took him."   The orthopedic specialist said it was the worst break he'd ever seen that didn't actually break thru the skin! It was pretty bad. Then in first grade his teacher calls me at work...."Jared fell on the playground...we think he needs stitches on his forehead!" followed by "Do you want us to call for an ambulance or do you want to come and take him yourself?":scared1: Well, ummmm, ummmmm, well how bad IS it? They would've sent him alone in the ambulance - so I went & got him...LOL...when I walked in he was in the nurses office...with this HUGE gauze bandage wrapped around & around & around his head like he'd been SHOT or something. And the BLOOD was ALL over his coat....I didn't know WHAT it looked like underneath...turned out it was a deep puncture & not very long so it only needed 3 stitches - but boy oh boy was he a MESS! And this bandage looked like a turban around his head or something! Hope you never get any calls like that!!

OK, so...how about middle names?! Can you go with Brenna Quinn?!:goodvibes

Why do I have Fennel Seeds in my spice rack? Just curious. I have some, yet I have no recollection of ever using them.......:confused3
(And yes, I have had one :drinking1 cocktail this evening......so I tend to think about these wonders of the world....) Also, just trying to keep the thread going here.......:)

That would be cool! We are (I think) about 1 hour south of Newburyport, if Im thinking of the right place. ;) I do have some stuff going on that week with the holiday, my nieces birthday, and we are going to a Red Sox game, but when you know your plans let me know when you think would be a good day/time and I will see if I can fit in a road trip.

Annie, sorry no idea about the Fennel.:lmao:
