Ok - on tap for today....do I really want to go to work? No. I have one more week! Have to go solve a computer problem though, so Ok going in for a short period of time. Facial appointment. Hhmm...wish I could cancel that. Also have to drive 2 hours to get DD in Friday traffic - this was a brilliant plan. Want to return a dress to Macy's. And need to finalize airline reservations for trip to Portland in August for DH BF wedding. Squeeze in some laundry and packing 'cause DH has to be at family ranch tomorrow to help his father with the ongoing new water trough project. Exciting huh? Not sure why I have to go - I am certainly not going to help it will be too hot. Maybe I will go talk to a house builder or two. hhmmmm. RJ isn't around to have lunch with...guess I am on my own. I could return the dress in Fresno. Brilliant. Scratch that off the list for today.

Oh and call science camp. Seems like they have cancelled the sessions DD is signed up for.

That's about it here. It's freakin hot - I am off to Java Makers for a paradise tropical iced tea and a bagel!!

New baby names from bunco crowd: Ellison, Paige, Shea, Finley don't really get that one and Alex.

None of these are flippin' any switches for me (good thing it's not my baby huh)....OK, maybe Shea....that's different. (But is that like Cocoa Butter?) I used to know someone with a last name of Ellison - so all I can do is picture that guy when I say that name. Paige - I guess that's uni-sex, right, but it seems like more girls than boys now. Finley? No. Is that a real name? Sounds like a town. Alex...ummm...I liked a couple of the ones you had named off before - several weeks ago...what were those again?!

Guess what! I'm running for school board. I am officially a candidate and will be on the ballot for the November election. (woo hoo!) it was a lot of work just to get listed (had to get signatures on petitions of registered voters in my district.) But I managed to get it done finally.

The downfall is that I will be on the ship on election day! not a good thing. I'll have to do an absentee vote, but how bad will it look if I'm not around for election day? It was a hard call, but DCL won over being here on election day (that and changing the date was a bit of an issue.)

TRM, sounds like you've been busy. I'm sure that helps to make the time go by fast. Not long now!!! Any progress on the names? Are you sick of hearing that yet? That and "How are you feeling?" "When are you due?" "Is it a boy or a girl" are way overused when you are pregnant.

Looks like you are sending the heat here Annie. We are finally warming up...gonna hit 90 by Tuesday...just in time for the last day of school.

Whats on tap for Fathers Day? We are starting out with a 10:15 game for Colt. This is the big one for the little guys. They go to the "big kid" field and get their names announced when they are up. Kind of like the show at the end of the season. Wish it were later though. But its better than Cams game yesterday at 9:00. After today we are down to just 1 more sport for 1 kid...spring sports are almost done!

So my relaxing day of doing nothing after the early game just got turned upside down. AT teh game infront of all my family, big mouth Cam says "Hey....why dont we have a barbecue/pool party with everyone? " Ok, how can I not invite everyone now??? So now I have my family (10 of us) all coming over.

I forgot to mention about the game. Cam got to hang out in the announcers box with some other kids. The announcer let them announce their siblings when they were up the second time. So Cam was in all his glory up there. It was really neat. I should have pictures later, but like I said...gotta run and entertain now.

Annie, it's so hot here as well (I'm in VA so I'm just south of you.) Nice pool (LOL) Whatever it takes to cool you off right?
We actually have an inground pool that I have been in all of once so far (not enough hours in the day.) The kids have been enjoying it and hopefully I'll get a chance to relax by the pool eventually.

Katie, Tara's working at Panera Bread. She started this week, and I just went out shopping today to get her more 'polo' style shirts to wear for work. Spent the day at the outlets (awww...tough day.) Found myself a Coach purse in the process of shopping for Tara

First t-ball practice is tomorrow, so we shall see how that goes as well. Should be interesting (nothing like watching a bunch of 5-6 year olds try to play ball )

I'm nervous about running for an office so I hope all goes well with it.

Nice to see y'all are keeping the thread alive. We are having a great time here in WDW. Even though every resort is completely sold out, the crowds don't seem bad at all. We went to Typhoon Lagoon yesterday and never waited more than 5 minutes for any slide. The lines everywhere are shorter than I expected.

Last night was dinner at Le Celleier and it was awesome! Would you believe that it was actually cheaper than the buffet at Chef Mickeys?
Steaks, cheddar cheese soup, wine... good stuff. Arguably the best anniversary dinner RJ and I have had in awhile. (18 years, by the way.)

TZM and ophie had to go home last night, but we enjoyed more than a week together with them, and we'll see them again this Friday. Betsy and her crew should be arriving any time now this morning. Epcot today, and probably Magic Kingdom tomorrow. Hey - somebody's gotta do it!
