I feel so lost not seeing TZMan and Ophie today....you guys want to come over to cure my withdrawl?? LOL

I got sunburned at the pool yesterday..but only on my upper thigh and my underarm where I missed putting sunscreen..i have been putting Solarcaine on my thighs all morning because it hurts!!

I am trying to think of a way to bring Nick and Rick to the hotel..it will be tight and since Rick can't take off that week, they would only be able to stay one night..we are trying to work on it..

doing laundry...have lots of sheets with Nick and his friend here last night!!

Ouch! sorry to hear about the sunburn Betsy, but ummmm....I gotta say I don't feel too bad. At least you know what the sun looks like! My memory is fading fast. For a day that was supposed to be sunny yesterday, it turned out mostly cloudy. And it looks like we wont see that yellow thing in the sky until Friday at the earliest! This is really getting old! I guarantee we will get great weather here on May 2...when I leave for WDW. I have been there twice now when it has been hotter up here in Boston. Can you imagine?

Annie, you can add portable heater at my feet to the list.

we are getting a cold front today..we are having 25mph sustained winds and it is very grey here..suppose to be in the 50's tonight!! BRRR!! but I can open the windows!

yes, the gray skies are turning my brain to mush...won't this make us all deficient of whatever that vitamin is that the sun provides? Maybe thats why the people who live in Seattle are always depressed!

As a true Michigander I understand your pain. Here in South Florida I want to escape the heat and electric bills. I wish that I could bust out the sweat pants, flannels and stuff. Maybe we should work on a house swap for next year for some time in January or February?

OK, so add to my "OVER" list:
(2) portable at your feet under the desk heaters (I have one too Katie)
Winter Coat / gloves
Seat heaters in the car

One day I want to take a winter or spring break-ish vacation...go somewhere warm...I'm thinkin' maybe in 2010 or 2011 (I don't have enough leave at my job to plan 2 trips a yr. 'till then). Is it too early to plan that far out yet?! (That's why I'm Anal Annie!) Actually, I have already started my 2012 cruise fund... (It takes a long time to squirrel away that much of my "allowance" in my sock drawer!) I'll get there tho...just give me another 4 1/2 years....DH thinks I'm nuts! But I want a balcony next time!

My friend in the Rhinebeck NY is doing ok..I don't know where Fishkill is...I saw lots of flooding on the news this morning!

On the East Coast we are wet, cold, and being blown away. It was wild out there overnight and this morning. The sound of the wind was amazing. Gotta love a spring Nor'Easter. Things seem to be calming down a bit, but thats not saying much. Its still pretty nasty. I feel so bad for the Boston Marathon runners. How miserable for them.

Looks like the sun will come out Friday and we may get up in the 50s by the weekend. This is really getting depressing. I cant take another grey week!
