Johnna - I can't find any twinkly Micky stuff on Disney Store. com (or the go.disney shopping site that you get sent to.) Where did you find it? Feeling the need for some sparkly Mouse for the front of the house

Yeah... I wasn't actually concerned... just attempting to stir up non-laundry conversation.

:lmao:

RJ - right there with you on football today. After the first early games I turned the TV off. OK - only when they cut away from the KC game for the late game.:woohoo: Dallas vs. Giants. And um...they cut right into the kickoff of the...RAIDERS game. Raiders!? Who cares. Anyways, Yes I will be ignoring the football pool this week. It is not going to be pretty.

Cheri - don't know exactly what twinkling lights you want. Will go look see. And post a link.

Cheri - is this what you had in mind?

it's disneyshopping.go in the holiday decor section "outdoors" There are a bunch of different ones.

you wanna spend my 2nd ever trip to Disneyland watching football???

I said catching scores, not watching football. Big difference! :)

Won't take but 10 minutes to check the ticker on the big screen!

"Nope - lost that one. Nope - lost that one. Hey! I won... oh wait... nope. Lost that one." :rotfl2:

Thares some cool stuff thare! Besides the Twinkley Mickey I also like the Bouncing Tigger and the Mickey & Friends sled....hummm need a sale!:goodvibes

Hey Cheri - whatcha tryin' to do? Tryin' to make a deal with the Tag Fairy to change your screen name but let keep your tags?! Good luck - hope it works!

I'd probably give up my tags if I could change my screen name (to what I haven't a clue). Just seems weird to be "Soccermom" when Timmy stopped playing soccer about 2 weeks after I chose that name. And, I'd never heard the negative connotation to it.

Maybe it could be "talkslikeStitch" or "ISpeakWhale"?

Negative connotation? I know I'm always a page behind but what did I miss? What's negative about it?! I'm the one with ANAL in my screen name! I've received grief more than once on here for that!:lmao:

 Hi everyone!

We are back and I'm so tired!
The cruise was one of the best (service wise) that we have ever had. We had the most amazing servers as well as the best stateroom host I have ever had. In ten cruises I have never had as amazing of a service team as this one.

I'll get some pictures up and posted soon, and do a mini report, but I have to catch up on emails and work first :( (not to mention all of the posts you guys have done since I've been away!)

Sue Ellen

Hey Sue Ellen, How did the election go? I was thinking of you. Glad you enjoyed the cruise.

So, I had a fun morning here. Cam is doing a little Veterans Day presentation/show in school today. In the past when they do stuff like this they will usually tell them what to wear. I don't know why I didnt question it. I had him in a nice green shirt (with a yellow and maroon stripe) and khakis. So it was 7:54 (the bus comes at 7:57) and we are getting jackets and shoes on and for some reason I thought of it and asked "you dont need to wear anything special do you?". He replied "Oh yeah, red white and blue". :scared1:  :scared: :headache: Could I strangle him?

Lets just say, blue jeans, maroon with a blue stripe will have to do...and they made they bus. :rolleyes1 I don't need this much excitement in the morning.

Katie: Glad to know that he made the bus!

BOB had a band teacher in jr high that would "forget" to tell the kids (until like the night before) that they had to wear dress clothes. Um hello! Boys spend alot of time growing in those early years. I can't tell ya how many last minute runs I made to purchase sumthin even remotely close to what was required.:rotfl2:

SE: Glad you're back and had a great trip. Can't wait for your pics!!:thumbsup2

CamColt - at least you knew Cam was doing a presentation! With my DS I probably wouldn't have even KNOWN about it!!:rotfl: Boys!! (DS's - in training to be irresponsible DH's!;) )

The ABC Christmas stage. They have been filming for the Disney Christmas Parade. They will be fliming again on the 18th (from what I've read) while we are there. Maybe we can catch sight of a few celebs. Although that will screw up the HUB.... guess we will have to take the long way around doncha know.

Nice to see, I'm not alone with these boys. :rotfl:

RJ, you are killing me with these pics! They are great. :goodvibes

We were there when Oprah was once. That screwed up everything.

Annie, I think you are rubbing off on me. It took 3 days, but Mission Accomplished! :woohoo: My playroom is now 100% clean. I don't think it has been this way since it was just finished 8 years ago. I was quite surprised to see we actually have a rug down there and the floor covering isnt just toys and junk.

Now the bigger challenge...see if the kids can keep it this way until Cams birthday party on 12/16.:rotfl: My idea that started out as a movie night type of party, has become a "tailgaiting" party. The boys are all coming over to watch the football game that day.

Morn---err..Afternoon!

Kate is home sick today, so I am cleaning..gave my bathroom a much needed "deep" clean...doing laundry and going to make turkey cutlets for dinner...cause ya know..we aren't going to get enough turkey in the next 2 weeks!

You have 4.0 cubic ft. of washer now and you STILL have laundry to do!? You must really be separating your whites!:rotfl:

Poor Kate....the Windex isn't working yet?!:)

Here's the Homework Policy from Cassie's teacher:

Budget the 90 minutes of homework in the following manner:
. 15 minutes looking for assignment
. 11 mins calling friend for assignment
. 23 mins explaining why the teacher is just mean and doesn't like children
. 8 mins in the bathroom
. 10 mins getting a snack
. 7 mins checking cable guide
. 6 mins telling parents that the teacher never explained the assignment
. 10 mins sitting at the kitchen table waiting for Mom/Dad to do the assignment

"Long Term Assignments"
These are given the night before they are due. This explains the name "long-term". It is a long-term commitment of the time that begins at 9:30pm and ends at 11:50pm or later. It is important that the whole family is involved in the project. It is imperative that at least one family member races to Wal-Mart/Target/Office Depot for poster board, and that at least one family member ends up in tears (it does not have to be the student).

One parents needs to stay up and complete the project. The other parent needs to call the school and leave a message that the student is out sick. It is not necessary to have the student's name on the assignment.

(ok, I'll own up to the long-term assignment one. However, my mean old mom wouldn't call the school and tell them I was sick. Come to think of it, I don't think she finished the project either. Hey! I got gyped! I want a do-over.

Wait a minute. No I don't :sad2: )
