My wife doesn't have the same obsession with Disney as I do though my dd(5) does.

Hello everyone!!

My name is Kevin and I am a Disneyaholic. I am not addicted to nicotine, alcohol, or drugs but get the shakes every time I think about going to Disney. When my wife and daughter (5) are not home I sneak in the Disney vacation video or one of the many tivoed Disney Travel Channel shows and could watch them all over and over . I spend countless hours everyday on disney related websites to get my fix.

When I am at work (Locomotive Engineer) I spend a lot of my time reading Disney Travel books and though I drive trains all I really want to do is drive the train in the Magic Kingdom or a Monorail.

My wife doesn't have the same obsession with Disney as I do though my dd(5) does. Do you believe my wife would actually like to take other vacations besides Disney? She wants to go on an all-inclusive trip to Mexico or sit on the beach in Hawaii. My response was at Disney she could have all-inclusive with the DDP (sort of), she could sit on many beaches, and she could drink Margaritas in Mexico.

Anyway sorry to ramble but I hope I fit your criteria to join the Dad's Club!

hay kevhead!! welcome to the club!! you have yourself a dilema. my dw was never there till our honeymoon (1985)! that was her first visit and beside the shore for a few days evey 2-3 years, wdw is the only place she has asked to go.we live 2 hrs from the nj shore and no offense but i hate the beach!! disney was part of the marrage proposal!! take me, my sights and sounds and wdw!and you can ask her,23 years later the wdw is the only part she would say yes to today!(im kidding). sorry i cant give you any good advice. good luck, she'll come around!

Sorry guys I have been busy lately and haven't had a chance to post.
It's spring time in Northwest PA (finally ) and the yard needed some cleaning up and oh ya Stanley Cup Play offs has been one. No game tonight.

So any way WELCOME to all the new Disney Dads.

We have made all most all our ADR's for our Halloween trip!! Can't wait.
Still haven't decided on what to dress up as. I want to be HOOK, but DW wants us to be Power Ranges so she can be the Pink one. I am not sold on that one yet.

Yak & Yeti for lunch, CRT for dinner, O'hana for breakfast, Le Cellier for lunch, Mama Melrose's for dinner, Spoodles for dinner, Boma for dinner, and somewhere else that is totally escaping me right now! Ugh - I hate that.

OK dads, I just have to boast here a little bit, my little sweet had her Senior Prom tonight, and I'd like to share a few pics with my fellow DIS Dads......

Hazel, Adam's mom and I went out to eat after the pre-prom at the high school. We got in just a little bit ago and I got the pics loaded into my Webshots account. I will post some of them here, as some pics are duplicates. When Angelina came out of her bedroom and into the livingroom, mom, dad and poppie all got choked up and a few tears were shed.

Actually, she came upon the dress and purse quite by accident, but the first time I saw both, I thought of the DIS lime green.....

When I first saw DD walking in the dress, she looked like Tinkerbell floating through the air.....

Very nice VM! My turn for those kinds of shots won't be here for a while, but it'll sure go fast! DW and I were looking at a photo taken last week of DD and her male cousin (born the very next day) - and here they are 4 yr olds, and we could totally see them as 20 yr olds! Scary. Then just switch out the cousin for a boyfriend, and oh my goodness... some things it sure would be nice if time could slow down a bit.

I'm sitting in PHX waiting for my connection to SNA... more than half way to DL! Just checked the hours for tomorrow and Mon, and the temps too - yay, it's going down a little bit - Anaheim was 98 yesterday. Oh well - hot or not, I'm getting my Disney fix in about 14 hours.
