I guess the first step in solving a problem is admitting you have one...... welll..... I AM A DISNEY DAD!!!!.... I feel so liberated....

I must also admit that I am getting hooked on Disney Pin collecting.... is there any hope for me?:rotfl2:

WELCOME Lampman!!! Glad you came in and joined the fun... pin collecting is big (not yet huge) in our house, and getting bigger all the time. Every trip that I go on that has a real Disney connection (FL, DL or NY for World of Disney...plain old mall-based Disney stores don't count in my book - especially the cheapened K-mart-like units that Childrens Place operated during their ownership) I bring home some new pin for my kids so that they'll have something more to trade with on our next family trip. Secretly I like them too, but it's more fun watching them do the trading. Our last trip was filled with all kinds of trading stops.

Thanks so much for sharing this site, RBE - that was cool. :thumbsup2 I love COP!!! It's always my singular pleasure at WDW since the fam can't stand it! I remember first going on it at DL back as a youngster with my grandpa... it was awesome then, and it's still awesome now.
same here, i drag them into cop and the hall of pres. ,against there will , every year. one year i went into the hall of pres. by myself. sat in the front in the center! i cant even stomp my feet because theres nothing there i wont go in.

I'm in GREENSBORO too!!:thumbsup2 we might have to get together and make some homemade Dolewhips and watch the free Disney DVDs.

Hey man...let me know...I'm in NE Guilford County...near the new Reedy Fork development. My daughter is already asking when the next trip is going to be!
Hey, did you take advantage of Allegiant Air's low rates on your last trip or did you drive down?

OK, have been trying to get through all of the posts before I joined. Thanks to the Dis Dads on the waiting for ROFR thread for pointing in this direction. DW is not as caught up as I and DDs are, but she puts up with me. I love the park music on my iPod and the shows I have Tivo’d, and have been lucky enough to just finish a DVC purchase.

By my calculations I come in about 78% of the criteria, I hope that meets the requirements. I went a few times as a kid (day trip). My best memory from then is that my dad bought us an extra pack of tickets to share on our one trip. A pack of all E tickets, it was a big deal, though I am not sure he thinks so. More recent, it is the DDs saying we’re home when we go under the entrance arch to WDW (I love this feeling).

In reading all of the posts, it really feels good to know there are others dads out there that get it, and we are not crazy. My name is GoofyDad13 (aka Scott) and I am a disneyholic.

Oh, and go Steelers, Bears, White Sox, Bulls and Pirates.

WELCOME Scott!!! Glad to have you aboard...ashore...or wherever you are! :rotfl: You definitely meet the requirements! And congrats and WELCOME HOME on your DVC purchase! :thumbsup2

Me too - I drag 'em in as much as possible. Sometimes they groan and moan and beg out - but mostly I win, since I am the big cheese of the clan! So long as I do some of the stuff they want to in return :rotfl2: DS12 is pretty cool about it, but the rest are just I don't know what. :confused3 On our last trip in Sept, we were in MK and it started to pour - buckets - and we just happened to be right outside HOP, so we went in. They were happy to be inside it then, and the show was about to start! :lmao: So rather than kill time doing nothing, we got to see the show! It was great. :woohoo:
