toronto, my best freinds son in law is a cop in toronto. hes on a swat team and his wife is a swat paramedic. how bout them flyers?!!! could this be the year? i was 8 the last time i was at a parade on broad street!

I wish that I had ever seen a parade on Yonge St, my Leafs are in a very sad state right now. Hopefully at this point there is only one direction left to go , UP! I will keep waiting for a cup in Torontotheres always next year.
I guess I could cheer for the Flyers, Nah that would just be wrong.

LOL, you can add me to this club. i definitely drive my wife crazy when i plan our trip. i do act like a 7 year old, i plan the entire trip, itinerary and anything else. i make the ADR's, i do it all and it drives my wife crazy. i was wondering if there are dad's out there that love Disney World as much as me. i even have the countdown timer installed on my WORK laptop. 73 days!

well, as you can see im home. hope everyone got past the storms!! had a great weekend in valley forge. girls did well. plats and high golds, no injuries.

Those storms were something. That was the first time that I have seen the skys turn green. I was on my front porch watching it roll in until the hail started. My In-laws said they saw a tornado in the sky but it did not touch down.

we got lucky. we got some down pour, alittle thunder and about 15 sec of hail and that was it. if i looked to the south, the sky was black. we were coming up the north east extension earlier and you could see out to the west it was getting dark. we got home and took showers just in case the power went out! reminded me of an august, florida, sky. most of it went to the south of the l.v. glad you made it w/ no problems.

well, im down to 38 days and counting!! the dw and i were talking this weekend, we havnt gone away,alone in 17 years. were hoping we dont kill each other!! we were talking about rides. she wont go on mis. space, tower, my dd and i go on all the fast stuff. i guess ill be on its a small world and peter pans flight 600 times. thats ok, were looking forward to the food!!!its funny, we had a hard time remebering what we did in the parks before dd.the years of the stroller,bags. the years of the "hold my hand" (those were the best.) im gettin old, i yelled up the steps to "turn down the music"!last week. my wife and i laughed.

dvczerfs that's hilarious. I haven't had to ask for the music to be turned down, but there are days.....

I also completely understand about not going away with just the wife. For us it's been 13 years.

we tried the "wing it" plan one time. that was it for us. we ended up eating burgers because we couldnt get in to any rest. that was june of 03, we always made our din res, i remember running around space ship earth to go into world key house (1980s) to make resis. now i call exac. 90 days and same way w/ dvc resi. i call the first day i can. again, dw thinks im nuts but when we walk up to the desk at 5pm, we can sit down to eat w/in 15 min or so, and shes hot, tired and hungry, im not so nuts anymore! i ask dw and dd were are we eating next trip,(that way its fresh in everyones mind) i write it down and thats were we go the next year. of course, we have the "its a givin" places we eat. as far as ready to go, im packed, our van has the snacks, luggage (what we can) in it already. i had the oil changed last week, im going to wash it this weekend and top off the gas. yes, we have an 06 crysler t&c that has been to wdw 4 times and it has 12,000 miles on it. to give you an idea, its about 2400 miles round trip for us each time. my wife calls it the "disneyworld only van, were not allowed to drive it any other time."
