You will never guess what just happened to me !!!!!!! As many of you know, I enter in a lot of sweepstakes and I just won one! I just got off of the phone with a representative of NMA Entertainment and she told me that my wife and I won a trip to Vegas to see Chris Angel at the Luxor Hotel! I have'nt even told my wife yet! You guys are the first to know! We have never been to Vegas and this will be a much needed vacation!

Count me in. The family and I went in June. This was my kids 1st time and my wife and my 2nd (20yrs ago). I think I had more fun than everyone. And My kids had a blast!! Cant wait to go Aug '09!!

You would have to tempt me like that! I'm not even going to ask how close Vegas and Disneyland are because I'll be trying to get there and I already know that we will not have time.

My wife and I will be leaving EARLY on the 26th and returning on the 28th. We will be seeing the brand new Criss Angel Cirque De Solei Show called "Believe."

Hey TDF thats great Me and DW did a trip to Vegas a few years ago.

They have a ton for Fun things to do that are Free or little cost.

But what we did during the Day was went into every Resort on the strip ( over our 4 days) and play $5 in nickel slots . We would get a free water ( while playing) and cash out if we got up to $20 or leave when the $5 was gone.

This allowed us to spend time in each resort and walk around to find our machine while checking out the rest of the place most are really cool places.

Have to do the Old Downtown with the overhead display spanning the Streets.

Oh and as the Steelers did look real good , My Raven were very impressive with how Young that offence is all the way around.

Any Dad's dressing up for the MNSSHP, if so what are you going as? Wife will be a witch, sons a footballer and daughters a mermaid. Kinda feel I have to go as something and frankly 'tourist' is not exactly a stretch.

Like others, I can't believe I haven't found this forum before.

I am going to MNSSHP on Halloween day. I have been dressing up for Halloween every year since my first child was born. I'll be dressing up as Hercules this year - albeit a scrawnier version. My wife is going to be Megara. As for the kids, they're doing an Aladdin theme. DD6 will be Jasmine, DS6months will be Raja.

Any others out there as excited to dress up for Halloween as I am?

And can someone explain to me what a Pal Mickey is?

hay padisfams, with the stiff competition your nit. lions are playing, i cant believe they are not ranked #1. wow, there realy digging deep now to find someone that penn state can beat! whos next, dolphin county community college? i quess there trying to get them some wins so they dont have to make up a pitty bowl for them again this year.

PSU is not #1 just yet. We have the mighty Syracuse Orange Men this Saturday after that the Temple Owls. Should be a tough two weeks

i guess you have more problems than penn state, tom brady gone for the year. i didnt get to watch many games on sunday, i had to evict a family of squirls from our chimney!! i was in the back yard and noticed a squirl braking branches off a tree, running across my roof and down my chimney! i took the smoke pipe out , the squirl ran out into the room, dw and dd screemed (i wish i had my camcorder) luckly the basement door was shut, i run up the steps and opened the outside door and he took off. i dont know who was screaming louder, dw dd or the squirl! never heard a squirl make so much noise. now, dw has to have the carpet cleaned in the basement.(whats another $200.00)

That would have made a great video Never had squirrels in our house, just birds. For some reason in our old house they would fly down the chimney and into our house.
I spent Sunday with DW going from store to store to store to store.......many dollars later I was allowed to go home and watch some football. The good news is we finally have our costumes for MNSSHP. The boys will all be wearing football Jerseys, DW will be a cheerleader and I will be dressed as referee.

It's going to be a tough season w/out TB Oh well, w/ or w/out Tom they are still my team. As tell other people I remeber the year they were 1 - 15 It can't get any worse than that.
