Well, we haven't lost to the Bills yet. :confused3 :lmao:

Don't be hating on the Bills there or you may wind up with a nemisis! I grew up in that snow belt region and we like our Bills along with the Sabers and lake effect snows. Perennial disappointment is good for you. It builds character and keeps you humble.

A Kentuckian that appreciates snow. They say there's a first time for everything. I guess it is true.

In honor of theduck and airgoofy starting the Indiana/Kentucky border war, allow me to say 0-4.;)

Transformers 3 is out on Blu Ray and Dvd tomorrow, I believe. Haven't seen it yet. Eorth buying?

I'm just a transplant. As they say over here, "Just 'cause the cat has kittens in the oven we don't call 'em biscuits."

Boy I Love Losing Superbowls.

As a fan who went through the same with the Patriots and especially the Red Sox pre 2001 and 2004, let me tell you that finally winning one is that much sweeter after all the disappointments... Much like a dole whip, you'll never forget your first... ;)

But beware, everything after that? meh...

Trying to keep up, but between soccer, this, that's, and work, my posting schedule is slow.

But, my February 23 - 26 "maybe" trip has moved from 50/50 to 60/40.
*catch*, no Disney Park days.

DS4 and I would be at Coronado during the day, and then driving to Universal to do Harry Potter in the evening w/ the Mother-in-Law.

Catch 2 - DS4 is ONLY 42 inches, that makes him too short for Harry Potter. Does Universal do a variation of "switch pass" so both Mother in Law and I can ride Harry Potter? Just wondering.

 It's off to VA tomorrow, hitting Kings Dominion & Busch Gardens for all the Holloween activites:eek:

I haven't picked on my nemesis in a while. You know your from IN if you take Manning with your #1 fantasy pick when he has a neck injury. But, despite kicking his a$$ in matchup, I am 1-2 in that league.

OK guys....need your opinions on Tony's Town Square.

I'm reading mixed reviews online but would trust your opinions a little more.

I stress little! :rotfl2:

We didn't care for it and it was bad enough to avoid a 2nd chance. I really like the Plaza at MK, but that gets mixed reviews as well.

forgot to mention. we had diner tonight at the rose and crown. that was the first time we have dined there and we loved it. ... , yorkshire pudding.:snooty: tasted like gravy bread to me but in a different shape!!:... casino in the old bethlehem steel plant) and won $1000.00.knock yourself out dear!! so thats explains the shopping today. tomorrow is breakfast at crystal palace and im guessing we are dessert ourself around the world for diner.:thumbsup2

I've wanted to try Rose n Crown. Thanks for input. And, you could have spent the money on me!

Hey Guys.....keep us in your thoughts and prayers.....Ethan has been asking A LOT of questions about adoption. He is starting to understand what it means. We have never hidden the face from him or Lauren that they are adopted. He has asked why his birthmom did not want him....and we have tried to explain that it was not a case of not wanting him but not being able to provide for him and give him the life that someone else can give him. It is hard to explain this stuff to a 6 year old in a way that he can understans...this evening he asked about her not being able to afford him...He is obvioulsy processing the information and mulling it over in his mind. I have dreaded this day for 6 years but knew that it would come. We have a journal that she wrote to him during her pregnancy in her own handwriting trying to explain to him why she made the choices she made...but...I just dont think he is ready for that...if anyone had any ideas on how to approach this when other questions come up I am all ears.....I keep thinking that we have to have these conversations with Lauren eventually also...

Hi all,

trying this hockey pool again. People were having a hard time getting in so I reset the password. It is a Yahoo Hockey Pool (id 38527) and the new password is disney.

If if doesn't work, send me your email and I can invite you from the league.

Confirmation that the email invite worked.

C'mon hockey fans, let's have some fun this season. And go Hawks and go Oilers!!

Well, son of a Beverly, I just found a few seconds to catch up and post. My usual DIS time (work!) has been taken up lately since we have a consultant in last week and this week and I have to babysit him. He knocked off early today so I had a few minutes to get back to my desk and catch up on everything.

My secondary DIS time (sittin' around on the couch at night after putting the kids to bed) has been non-existent with the new house remodel job I'm working on. (To catch everyone up: with the new baby coming in the spring, we're moving our kitchen into what is currently a "office" because it has the patio doors to the backyard and thus can't be used as a bedroom. The current kitchen will be converted to my daughter's bedroom, with my son moving into her old room, and they baby getting his room - which is more of a nursery anyway.) And yes, as much of a pain as it is to type that, it's just as much to actually do it.

I've taken the room down to the studs (to facilitate new insulation, new electric, etc) and knocked out the closet so we can expand the room an extra 24 square feet or so. I've still got a bunch of clean up before this weekend's big project: plumbing!

Oh, and I've got our first Disney Cruise coming up in 32 days that needs planning, packing and attention. So no distractions there or anything. :rolleyes1

Good luck with all that remodeling. While you are at it, you could install a CoP feature so that the next time you want to change things up, you can just rotate the rooms around? :confused3 :lmao:

i know most of you guys all have young kids but if you ever wonder or thought why would you come here with no kids, try it. we are having a blast!! walk by all those character lines for starters!!!:lmao: we have not rushed, walked fast for anything (but the restroom one time) :sad2: not even a "whats next". i have always planned on coming down for 10-11 nights just us than again for about 8 nights with briana every year, or dare i say oneday grandkids, and i now tammy is well on board with the idea. she even asked if we have enough points to do this every year. :woohoo: i knew she would come around but i thought it would take at least tuesday to fiqure it out not thursday!:thumbsup2
so if your looking for me today, you may find me on a bench over by the fountain, watching again!:thumbsup2
