Ah-HA! So I have found the place of respite for DDs who need to Disney-validate themselves somewhere because everyone else is sick of hearing about it! I would be honored if I may be allowed a membership.

Why am I such a Dis-Nut? I watched the Wonderful World of Disney every Sunday night when I was a kid, and dreamed of the day that I would get to go to such a magical place. I never got to do it until I was an adult. So.... the kid in me is able to find his place every time we go. And if one of the rules (we like to consider them more... "guidelines") is that you're planning your next trip as soon as you return from your current trip, well, I have it beat. I'm planning my next trip before I even go on this one. When is "this one", you ask? THREE WEEKS FROM TODAY!! Our 6th annual venture to the Food & Wine Festival. We can't wait.

Having moved from Iowa to Colorado this year, one of our big considerations for the move was the fact that we can fly DIRECTLY from Denver, non-stop, to Orlando. From Iowa, there was always a lay-over. Yes, it's a 2-hour difference, but we're talking about DISNEY! Who cares about that? You can sleep before you go, and sleep when you get back. Other than that, all bets are off! :grouphug:

Welcome!

Just got a call from the neuro guy. The MRI of her brain found nothing! OK, bad joke but I can joke about it now. The news was very positive. No tumors, pressure was fine and everything was normal. Next step is the "lumbar puncture" but based on the MRI he doubts that it will show anything negative.

Not sure what the steps will be after that. Doc, it might be an abnormal migraine. I will ask then. We will see as things unfold but feeling much better now.

Thanks again guys. Appreciate it.

I am glad that he called you and did not make you wait longer! Now, we will just change our prayers to the results of the LP and get to the bottom of this!

Top of the morning fella's :thumbsup2

Welcome Tim to our club, Emma's dad will be by to give you a number.

I leave for Minnesota tomorrow so today is going to be crazy hectic.

The Colts game yesterday wasfun to attend, but the outcome was Beverlyx7. I really hate it when fans leave in the fourth with like ten minutes left to play.:confused3

Morning guys! Happy Monday!

Morning guys. After yesterday, we will be taking it easy today. I need to make a run to Home Depot but other than that, nothing. Well, maybe a nice dinner tonight. DD is missing school today, tomorrow and maybe Wednesday. There goes her perfect attendance record for high school.

With everything going on, I forgot to mention the countertop in the kitchen was installed. Nice to have a functioning kitchen again.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Well that's good to hear. Hopefully her pain is subsiding.

Wow, last week of work before WDW! It didn't need to be cool, dark, and rainy just to remind me it's Monday. Going to be hard to concentrate this week and I have so much to do both at work and at home to prepare for this trip. It's funny how I have to work twice as hard the week before and the week after just to take a vacation. Something doesn't seem right about that. Oh well, that light at the end of the tunnel is getting bright! :thumbsup2

Pull down bars on splash mtn? Why was I not told.
Yeah, I've heard about that... I hope they're designed for people with long legs. I really hate knee bangers.:headache:

Good morning guys :thumbsup2

I will be heading out later today to Lucas Oil Stadium to see if my beloved Colts can recover from last week.
:sad2:

Welcome to the club. Have a great trip. Never been to F&W, but I'd sure love to sometime.:thumbsup2

I'm glad they didn't find anything in her brain. :lmao: Still praying for her, hopefully they can figure out what is causing it quickly!

Well, that's the typical Colts fan. I went to the NE game 2 years ago when the Pats went for it on 4th down and then Peyton marched down the field for the win. That place was almost a ghost town by the end of the 3rd qtr.

Remember how even when they were a playoff quality team with Harbaugh as QB? How many home games actually made it on TV?:rolleyes1

Always fun to be back in the office after a week of vacation.:headache:
Welcome back to the real world, Fed! I hope you had a great trip.

I had a busy weekend working on the farm. We bought a new combine last year that is considerably technically advanced compared to the older machines. Adjustments that used to be made by crawling around the machine with wrenches can now be made by turning a dial from the seat. In addition to that, there is a computer that records everything and can convert any information about the machine's function or the crop conditions into an easy to read GPS map... The problem is that my dad and uncle do not know how to use this technology and didn't care to learn. I spent about 5 hours Friday meeting with a sales rep from John Deere learning how to use the system and then uploading data onto a laptop so I could use and edit it. I then stayed up until about 2 am Saturday morning downloading maps and merging them with last years recorded data and editing file names and deleting "extra" files that were put in by mistake by someone (not me) last year.:rolleyes1

Took the memory card and plugged it in Saturday afternoon and took the combine to the field to make sure everything works... thankfully it does! I even managed to get the program to do a few things that the John Deere guy told me we couldn't do!:woohoo:

After going through all of that, I was really feeling my geek side so I finally decided to bite the bullet and finally get a smartphone yesterday... Now if anybody has a Droid Bionic and wants to teach me how to operate this beverly peanut butter, let me know.:lmao::rotfl2:
