good morning Dads!

I crashed last night after putting the kids to bed. I slept a good 12 hours. now it's time to get up and get ready to go to work.

Had a nice, short three-day week (well technically, three and a half) due to Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving). Unfortunately, had to work for 3 hours today, but no big deal. Thinking about starting a ticker for the days I have left at my current job. Not sure when I'll officially be starting my new one, but my recruiter sent me a copy of the contract on Thursday. Seems like a pretty sweet deal, but I'll have a few more duties than I anticipated. Needless to say, I'm sure I'll be pretty busy the first couple of months getting used to everything and preparing for classes and presentations.

I kind of wish that I started there a couple weeks ago, though...found out I get basically a $3000 bonus at Chuseok and another at Lunar New Year's. Oh well, I'll get next year's.

not yet, but I am going to. This will be the reason I finally buy a dedicated Blu-Ray player as well. up until now I have only had the Blu-Ray drive on my PC.

Hi Dads...Well we are totally exhausted. We've been gaming all day for GKTW. Almost eleven hours now most of which has been spent on the computer. We have raised $480 so that's a good thing. I'm really hoping to get it to $500.

It's a 9 disc set - 6 moives, and 3 bonus discs.

I haven;t watched any of the bonus features (I beleive it's over 40 hours).

I did pop in Ep 1. The Phantom Menace (watched first 15 mins) - and the picture and sound quality was amazing.

I haven't had a chance yet to watch whole movies but will make the time as the holidays approach.

I may pop in Ep 4. A New Hope - just to see how much of the 1977 footage got re-digitized, and cleaned up to reach 1080p.

I will be heading out later today to Lucas Oil Stadium to see if my beloved Colts can recover from last week.

Early morning daze ownage.

Good morning all. A great day yesterday. We won our soccer game 3-1 against last years best team. They were a tough yesterday as well and will be the strongest team we play all year. Then, in-state rivalry UL UK football game (which is not as good as basketball). After quite a few beers, made it to bed at midnight which I am just way too old to do. It's gonna be a long recovery day.
