I am not big on speeches. How ever I would like to take this 1,000th post and say thank you to all of the great friends I have made here in the DDC !!! There have been many posts and speeches about the great Dads in this unique club, so I dont have to repeat any of that. I just want to say Thank You for sharing your Disney addiction with me!!!

On July 19th, I will be in Disneyland Paris. It will only be for the 1 day.

That's what we did...mind you after that we can't afford anything but the values, but hey, the Poly is worth it.

My excuse I'm using is because I have two daughters who love MK, that it would be prudent that we stay at a resort close to MK....right?

As they get older and can enjoy the features of EPCOT and DHS, we can stay at resorts closer to those attractions.

Actually - if it were up to wife (bless her heart) we'd be buying DVC! Unfortunately, it's not up to her...it's up to our bank account...and right now it's telling me NO WAY.

go for it. Poly's terrific and the location can't be beat. You'll be able to get to MK for rope drop pretty easily, which will come in huge during peak season.

I have been told that Speeches, Memos, and Meetings should be like a miniskirt... Long enough to cover the subject and short enough to keep it interesting.

It is so worth it for the location, being able to watch the fireworks from the beach, and the atmosphere was top-notch. I recommend taking the boat over to MK, it was nice.

We looked into the DVC a few years ago, but after DD2 was born, that pretty much killed that. HOWEVER....MIL and stepFIL ended up purchasing after their trip in February. Somehow, I think we will be able to benefit from this one way or another.
