well, besides messier,stevens was one of the biggest cheap shot artist ever to put skates on. he hit the biggest pu*(^& ever to play. if you notice, one guy got hit with his head down and the other guy saw it coming and didnt duck!!! i have to delet my post, kids learn to spell 4 letter words in the comment section.

I grew up in New Jersey so I am a Devils fan. The nearest hockey rink was also the Devils practice rink for a while so we used to see them all the time.

Anyway, most people don't know the story behind the New Jersey Devils nickname. It is actually based on a New Jersey legend/myth:

Most accounts of the Jersey Devil legend attribute the creature to a "Mother Leeds", a supposed ***** although the tale has many variations. According to one version, she invoked the devil by saying "let it be the devil" while giving birth to her 13th child, and when the baby was born, it either immediately or soon afterward transformed into a devil like creature and flew off into the surrounding pines.[2][3] Other origins include Mrs. Leeds throwing the unwanted child into her basement (to let it die) but it started to grow fur and eventually escaped.

How old is she anyway? She doesn't look a day over a thousand.

She is 90, and been the mayor since '78, so most of my life basicly. This is her last term apparently. My brother commented that she wore a hat like his to Queen Victoria's corination.....

This year, they didn't. John McLean was probably the worst coach in team history.

Keep your pants on and you never worry about that. I had a friend tell me one time that it was 50% his wife's fault that he had an affair. I asked him if she pulled his pants down and shoved him onto the other woman. He stopped speaking to me for awhile. If someone wants to end a marriage, then that's one issue. But, to betray someone else and their vows is another matter.
