It's really tempting to just keep posting until someone interrupts me, but I'm sleepy now, so I'm off to bed. Night guys. Can whoever is up first please put up some coffee? I'm going to need it.

Impressive. Most impressive. :thumbsup2

alright dad's, I'm back, asking for more prayers. As some of you guys know, I've been looking for work for some time now. Well, a former co-worker (from 12 years ago) contacted me today to set up an interview with his firm. Here's where this particular crowd comes into play, the job is in Orlando!!!!!

I have some experience with theme park architecture, but that was a long time ago when I worked on IOA, however, this firm deals mostly in health care facilities.

Either way, I'm interviewing Wednesday at 1:00pm, so some good thoughts my way would be appreciated.

Wonder if my family will get mad if I stop at DTD for lunch?
Oxar, more happy thoughts and good vibes are headed your way. I'll be praying for you too. Good luck.

Favorite BG ride is Apollos Chariot, but since mt son can't get on it, I'll go with the Bumper Cars:lmao: My son is starting to steer them really good, we chase Mommy all around:lmao:

They haven't done much with The Mach Tower, it was just round tubing right now, looking at the pics they have up it dosn't look like anything really great:confused3 Will not compare to TOT:scared1:

I liked the new Pretzel House next to Mach Tower, I was alittle set back seeing the Mach Tower is where the Srambbler was, but I was happy to see it later on (moved it to New France next to the Smokehouse:banana:)

Nothing is happening where BBW was:confused3

Shows - The Celtic Dance show is the same, The new show in Italy was really good it has the Drummers from the Halloween show:worship: and the waiters in the show are quite funny:lmao:, Octoberfest show has changed alittle bit adding a few things:cool1:

Food- They added a all you can eat Pizza & Pasta next to Roman Rapids:woohoo: It was very reasonable $9.99 Adults & $5.99 Kids

The Stable has a new edition, a baby Clydesdale, he was adorable:goodvibes

It is good to see that the new owners are dumping some cash into the parks (they also own half of Universial but are selling there share)IMO over the next couple of years they will build the Busch Properties up, like Disney they know what works:confused3
Thanks for the review. I've read that they are replacing BBW with a ride like Manta. It seems like swooping face down over the Rhine would be a pretty awesome ride. Its a bummer they didn't do more with Mach Tower's theme. Usually BG does a better job with that. Love the airtime you get on Apollo's Chariot :thumbsup2 and the fact that pretty boys get hit with birds on it is a bigger plus.

I like it, kind of gives The DDC A Free Masons look:confused3:thumbsup2
Does that mean we need to come up with an initiation?

BTW, I was at my Aunt and Uncle's house for Passover Seder tonight. I had four (small) cups of wine.
Define small. It looks like they may have only been small compared to a Double Big Gulp.

Hey dads! Hope all is well with everyone! Haven't been on the boards recently so I could spent quality time with my family in Ohio. Now I see I need to go back about 30 pages and get caught up on the happenings. I'm sure there is a new member or two I need to add.

BTW... I finally have the quote back from the print shop for the window decal. Depending on the quantity purchased, we are looking at about $1 a piece. With stamps at $.44, we are looking at $1.50 for the first decal, then $1 for each one after that. Not sure how many I could ship in one envelope... need to get the weight first.

Glad your vacation is going well Don. Thanks for interrupting it to update us. Those decals look great and at $1.50 I'm in for a couple.

Stopher Thanks for the tip a while back on "Follow me Boys". Our family watched it last night and really enjoyed it.

FreeinRafiki NPR did a story on "Portal" this morning. They mentioned a children's choir in Rancine WI that sang Still Alive in one of their performances? Were you involved?

I knew you'd be able to fill in the gaps, Andy. :thumbsup2
I know that place well... it was just a couple of blocks away from the apartment I lived in for 3 years while I was in school. It has some of the worst, greasiest food you can imagine... but it tastes so good!

La la la la la la la lala la la
Love the Smurfs !
You know, one of my favorite amusement park rides growing up wasn't at Disney World. Kings Island, near Cincinnati, used to have an IASW type boat ride that was Smurf themed. All the props were huge, so it was like you were Smurf sized and Gargamel was trying to get you as you rode through Smurf themed scenes. I miss that ride.

That's a bummer... I didn't realize they got rid of BBW (been several years since I've been to BG Williamsburg, Alpengeist had just opened). It wasn't anything too extreme, but I thought that coaster was a lot of fun the way it ran through the trees and dipped down over the water.

WISECRACK OWNAGE!!

In all sincerity I just wanted to say...... good luck. We're all counting on you.

Here is the decal I submitted for the quote. This image is a little larger than actual size as I asked for 3" x 3". I'd be happy to send additional designs for more quotes if anyone has ideas.

Im in for atleast 12 but no more than a dozen!!! which ever comes first.:rotfl:

Sorry Mark...:lmao:

Don- put me down for some stickers

Stopher has been relatively quiet this morning... must be resting up the typing fingers for the stretch run!

Triple XXX Family Restaurant in West Lafayette, IN was visited by Guy Fieri on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives a few years ago. It used to be a drive-in and was the first in Indiana. Now it is right on the edge of the Purdue campus and is more of a walk-in. They have sandwiches dedicated to past Purdue players and the story goes that Duane Purvis came in and orderd a burger and asked for peanut butter on it, hence, the Duane Purvis All-American Burger. Personally, my favorite food there was the biscuits and gravy at around 2am on a Friday morning on the walk back to campus from the Neon Cactus. :rolleyes1

Hmmm...I might need to arrange for a stop this summer...
