The DDC shirt order has been finally given the go-ahead this morning Just waiting on receiving the proofs... so once they are finalized they will print them out. Invoices are going to be sent out today.. so check your emails for those who ordered. Hopefully the shirts will be ready on the 15th, but that's a tight deadline. I'll ship them to you ASAP once received.

Unfortunately, that shouldn't even be a question... if they can't reach an agreement to pay the federal employees, under no circumstances should they be getting paid.

I am getting withdrawal symptoms already... my Rangers were off today. I miss my team playing! It's been 30+ hours since the last inning was played. I am starting to twitch a little.

But they pick back up tomorrow with a weekend series at Baltimore. I should be able to tough it out, but the pressure of staying undefeated is really growing. I almost hope they drop a game to take the pressure off... wait...NAH! Keep winning! 162-0 pace is still intact, baby!

And I can't believe the Red Sox still haven't won a game! WOW!

Flying. Southwest on Friday morning. Change plans in DC and then arrive at 2:45. Although we drive to NC every year in the summer, we've never driven all the way to WDW. More of an issue with getting the time off for me. When I'm there, I will try to post once a day with updates (but after the kids are asleep to not break any MAN LAWS)

And Chris - there's no way around Fed. He knows Georgia State Patrol & Florida Highway Patrol if you're driving. He know TSA people if you're flying. I once threated to take a boat from Lake Michigan, out the St Lawrence Seaway and down the coast to Florida. Turns out he knows some Coast Guard guys too.

I was rockin' the Vic-20 on a 13" b/w tv with casette tape drive and an external 5.25" floppy. My favorite game was this moon lander game.

I think that was what my High School bought my senior year when they offered their first computer class. I didn't take the class hoping I would be able to get through life without having to deal with computers. My TI-30 calculator was a big deal. Yeah, I'm old, but my kids keep my young.
