Oh and Happy April Fool's Day (and DD Mary's 8th b-day)... got to update my sig...

Happy Birthday, Mary! My nephew was born on March 31 in the late evening. My sister said she was pushing as hard as she could because she didn't want him to be an April 1st Baby. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

OK, GET A LOAD OF THIS!!!! i have a resi and the contemp. for 8 nights at $4553.00 total. i went on line for the specials and for my dates, there was no avail. for the special rate.grrrr so, messing around,i added a night to the resi and the price came up $4012.00!!!!:confused3 so i called wdw!!!! long story short, she gace me my 8 nights for my orig. dates at $3300.00!!!! :woohoo: so, if you dont see the special for when you want, call wdw and see what they tell you!!! i saved $1200 in one phone call!!!!:woohoo:
You showed great restraint there. I think if I would have looked it up and saw that I could book an extra night for and spend $541 less, I'd have just added the extra night. :lmao::rotfl2:

Edit:
Question: If someone gets quoted at the top of the page, does that count as a co-own? :confused3:confused3 :rotfl2:
Great concept, but this could get way too confusing.

Nice!

I was thinking about you the other day. My DD started her first dance class. All I could think about was you talking about how just about every weekend for the past dozen or so years were spent driving all over the state to dance competitions. :dancer::dancer:

:lmao: thats the easy part!!! with hotels, costumes, shoes,(her tap shoes were $425. and had to go to new york city to get them fitted) its about $12,000.00 per year. comp. fees for what she does ranges from $500-600 a pop. i didnt add in the gas and food for the trips or to the dance studio. everyone worries about paying for the kids education, heck, its going to be cheaper for her to go to school than what i forked out for dance!!!:lmao: but, it beats standing out on a soccer field for 10 months out of the year.:lmao:

Stopher1: We'll have to meet up at some point and discuss our respective jobs. I work as a relationship manager for a trust bank in Chicago. A little different that you, but I'm curious as to what types of relatioships you deal with.

dvczerfs: I'm nominating you as the Official DisDads booking agent. $1200 in one call, I think that would make me happy enough to NOT go into work. :rotfl2:

AJRitz (and podcast gang): I really hope that this is available on Monday as I'm on a flight to Miami Tuesday morning and what better way to fly than listen to my favorite podcast. I also haven't done the review on iTunes yet, but I'll be sure to look into doing this. Thanks again for taking the charge on this. 1 & 2 have been great!

you will be glad to know, im not going back in to work today!!!!:woohoo:

I booked ours myself and was able to get exactly what I wanted. Let me know if you need help we'll get you there!!!:dance3:
Thanks for the offer. Trip has already been booked and taken too:thumbsup2.

We wound up booking things separately, and based the trip on when we could find the least expensive cruise for the class of room we wanted. There seemed to be a lot of variation on pricing for cruise rooms based on different weeks (hundreds of $ difference for the same class cabin on the same length cruise on different weeks).

if she would have not given me the special for the 8 night, i would of just book the 9 night, saved the $541.00 and only stayed the 8 nights. i have to be at work the next day and couldnt stay the extra night if i wanted to but for $540, the room would of sat empty for one night!:thumbsup2

We really can't take a trip this summer. I don't have enough vacation time saved up for a trip long enough to be worthwhile and we haven't had the opportunity to save teh money for the trip yet either.

So I'm not going to go and price out a summer trip.

Nope.

Not going to do it.

No way, no how.

Oh BEVERLY! Who am I kidding? I'll be back in a bit . . .

Opening day for the Cubs today and we're already in last place..:sad2:

Wow... I just realized... I only have 10 more work days before our family makes the drive up to Canton, OH to visit my parents. We'll be there for five days, then drive back. Then I only work 3 more days and we are off to Tampa/Orlando. Time is slipping right on by. Been so busy planning the Disney part of our trips that I've let the other stuff fall off the radar. Guess I should put together a touring plan for Busch Gardens Tampa for one day.

No you're not! You're half a game up on the Brewers and Cards.:rotfl2:

Oh yeah. Didn't realize that. Sorry, a lifetime of watching losing baseball has conditioned me to always view the glass as half-empty.

Almost forgot to share this little nugget from this morning. DD's class has something called "Fun Friday" where you get to wear a hat and bring a stuffed animal to class. I'm gone to work in the morning before anyone else gets up, so DW called me to tell me that DD was looking through our hats, trying to find one to wear. I've got several Packer, Cubs, Admirals (hockey), and Disney baseball-style caps, but she just didn't feel like wearing that kind. DW told her she could wear any style hat she wanted, not just caps. She goes into her room and comes back out wearing this:

THAT'S MY GIRL!:woohoo::woohoo:

Time for a new agent.:thumbsup2

Nah our agent rocks. I was just saying that the fact that the Disney Land and Sea packages offered on the WDW Cruise site can't be coupled with a magic your way package explains why she had us book our park stay and cruise separately.

I'm listening to hold music before a con call. Somewhere in the late 70's, a dentist office is missing its music.
