Holiday Turkey Sandwich

I tell my wife that our schedule and the weather dictates that we must take our annual trek to Disney in November - that's a total lie. It's this sandwich right here. Stuffing? It's in there. Cranberries? You got it! Gravy? All OVER the place! And it has loads and loads of oven roasted turkey! MMM!

I just almost licked my monitor...

I had that one last time. Really good. Heck, EVERY sandwich I have tried from EoS is really good!

I'm kicking myself.....last April I was down in Orlando for a conference. And my last night there I found out that I could go to Downtown Disney without paying park admission (yeah, I know, I was really new to everything Disney). So I went to DTD and was just in awe that I was so close to everything Disney and was soaking it up.

I went with Dinner in mind and was looking at Earl of Sandwich but decided against it since my company was paying for meals. I decided to go to more of a "sit-down" place and spend some of the company's money.

I ended up going to Raglan Road instead. My meal was great at Raglan and I highly recommend it. But after reading everyone on this board rave about EoS...I wish I would've tried it!

2000... Year 2K... The year when we all thought the digital world would come to an end because we weren't smart enough to think what would happen when the date rolled over. The year George W. Bush became president. It was a leap year. And it was also the last year of the 20th century. For a lot of us this was a year that we thought many things would change... or when we thought we would make significant changes. Alas, thinking back, it was just another year. And now here were are staring into the face of year 2011. Remember when you thought anything over the year 2000 felt so... futuristic?? :darth:

I'm not sure that the 2000th post on this board deserves much pomp and circumstance. But I am kindly reminded that my journey on the DIS started just over 3 years ago... the same year I gave up cigarette smoking after nearly 20 years of using it. The year when we decided as a family to take our first journey back to WDW. And I came to this wonderful source of information to figure out where to stay, what to do, where to eat, and the tricks to making an enjoying vacation. Never did I think I'd find a place in a online forum to share my "unpopular" passion with a group of men. But I did! And I am proud to say that you guys have become more than just a bunch of usernames to me... more like a bunch of friends all over the world... who have similar values and an awesome desire to make our families into FAMILIES.

I pray for each of you when I get up in the morning that God would give you the strength, wisdom, and love you need to get through the day doing His work. Thanks for allowing me the honor and privilege to keep the thread going. I know we have many, many , many more to go! :lmao::lmao:

Thanks for letting me share... I'm kicking the box over to the corner now. Peace. (rolling out to Vanilla Ice... dum,dum,dum,dumda,dum,dum....)

Don, CONGRAT'S on 2G :thumbsup2:worship: Thanks for the prayers and all

that you do for the club !!!!:cool1:

I seriously just had drool drop on my desk. I wanna get one and light candles all around it and worship it!!!

Mark, can you give some more details about your facebook post?

And John, thanks for the info on the Disney Magic out of NYC!

Best sandwich at Earl of Sandwich?..ready..GO!!!!
They are all good but my favorite by far is the Original 1762: Roasted Beef, Cheddar Cheese & Creamy Horseradish Sauce. Normally I don’t go for roast beef but this is to die for. EoS has the best bread.

It has been brought to my attention that Thursday nights are difficult for some of the guys. I have one already scheduled for Tuesday. I'm thinking I may move a couple more to Tuesday nights. Do I have any requests for Wednesday nights?

tues and thurs are good for me. i have piced a couple that i would like to try and get in on .I will email you

I'm flexible and can do just about any night if I plan in advance.

The cost of the DDC shirt is $11.00 plus $4.95 shipping (For up to 2 shirts). The original deadline for the first order was April 1st, but got extended to COB today... which has already passed. If I get enough interest, I could start another order...

It's amazing how kids just bounce back. Congrats on a healthy soon-to-be four year old :)
