A Yankees fan, a Mets fan , and a Phillies fan are climbing a mountain and arguing about who loves his team more. The Yankees fan insists he's the most loyal. "This is for NY" he yells and jumps off the side of the mountain. Not to be outdone, the Phillies fan is next to profess his love for his team. He yells " this is for the Phillies" and pushes the Mets fan off the mountain!!!

Go Phillies :thumbsup2

Very nice - That definitely went around the office as soon as I read it.

'nough said! :thumbsup2

John, we'll pray that the surgery goes well. And we're thankful they caught this on the stress test.

Thanks, Kevin. I might have a better shot if I can bring the DDC with me.

:scared1: That doesn't sound good! I think a lot of people on the outside don't realize that the politics and bureaucracy of the government is just as maddening on the inside for the employees.

:lmao::rotfl2: I have that screen name for a reason!

Thanks, Mike. I guess it could have been worse. I could have said, "Thanks, @#$%." :rotfl:

That's no fun either. My wife had similar surgery to remove part of her colon a couple of years ago. I'm glad your FIL came home early! :woohoo:

So you got a birdie! :cool1:

Sorry, somebody had to say it.

I know what you mean, Phil. ;)

:scared1:

It's this amount of multi-quoting that keeps you out of the top 10 posters, Mark. :thumbsup2:

Although, it could be work, too

Oooh, that sounds awesome - but in looking at the schedule, I only see that happening the third week of June - right when I'll be at Summer Camp. :headache:
Oh well, worth the mention anyway.

In my little world, that counts as a hole in one :thumbsup2
Works for me too. That shot is somewhat legendary. I wasn't with him when he hit it, but anytime I golf with him and his friends that story is typically repeated at least once.

My own story, and I can't believe I forgot this one... We went golfing for a bachelor party a couple of years ago. We had 3 foursomes and 2 of the foursomes were playing on holes that run parallel to each other, but in opposite directions with a thick line of pine trees between them. I sliced my drive over the trees and into the other fairway and we went to retrieve my ball. I pulled out the 3 wood and actually hit a good shot over the trees and back into the middle of our fairway... but we heard the ball hit something.

We crossed back under the trees and I saw 2 golf carts parked in the fairway and somebody rolling around on the ground. Upon further investigation, someone on the next hole hit a big slice too and put it on our fairway. They were going to look for the ball and driving down the middle of the fairway when my ball hit off the steering column of a moving golf cart being driven by the bachelor. He was rolling around laughing (thank God) but I've been accused of trying to keep his wedding (and from the angle the ball was heading when it hit the cart, procreation) from happening.:rotfl2:

Okay, and hour into work and I'm all caught up, but....
He's Red....and he invited his friend Woodford Reserve!! :thumbsup2
were you not picking up food before church? Did you take your friends with you to church? Maybe it was bring a friend night?:rolleyes1

Silly Tim, the real opening day isn't until tomorrow in South Philly. Real men were red pinstripes!
Real men wear purple and white and play with altitude!

Oh well, worth the mention anyway.

If it weren't during that week - yeah - I'd have been there! Maybe there's another game you'd be interested in that would work instead.

I do see from the schedule though that the Yanks will be up in Chicago the Friday before Summer Camp... perhaps I'll need to make a road trip that way to see that game. Hmmm... :teleport:

so many yankee haters :confused3

I think you're all just jealous of the best team in baseball!!:cool1:

Go Yankees!!

And oh yeah, how many times have the Yanks won the series... what was that? 27 times... that's right. The Phillies are at what, 2 ?

I didn't realize you were a Mets fan. I think I just lost some respect for you.:sad2:

THere is a huge sign on the FDR Drive South advertising a storage facility that reads:

“Why Leave A City That Has Six Professional Sports Teams, And The Mets?”

Here's your one and only reminder, guys. Today, 4:00 eastern, Dr Oz show.
My wife, Rebecca will be on the segment about frozen foods. Here's hoping she doesn't embarrass me...popcorn::

Comments like that will quickly spur nemesis conversation...:rotfl:

By the way, we're shattering DDC VII's record. So far on DDC VIII, there's a post every 5.25 miniutes.
