What DW beverage will Christopher choose to celebrate his 10,000th post? :confused3

Stopher,

Only ten more!! You can do it!! :thumbsup2 I heard if you get 10000 posts you get to wear spandex while posting on dis!

I couldn't wait, I ordered one in black. :thumbsup2

Page Ownage, and 350 Posts!

I know the feeling...we'll be there in 21 days and I couldn't wait either.
I see we'll just miss each other at WDW...

...and congrats on 350, I'm still trying to crack 100...

Spending a nice quiet afternnon at home watching the Flyers and letting the baby sleep on my lap. Good times.:thumbsup2

I like it. Every time I go in and try to change just the member number it erases everything :badpc:

Where you click to edit the text there is an X and little words that say "change text" click on the words NOT on the X.

This is getting annoying.
Our podcast has been "approved" on iTunes for four days now, and we still can't even be found by searching iTunes yet.

What a bunch of "Apple" peanut butter!

I downloaded the podcast from iTunes for the stats.

Also, 2 days ago, the DW said, "I was thinking we could go to WDW in October. Stay at the Contemporary? What do you think."

We went in 09 AND '10 (and new years day '11), and man... I WANT to go back, but we SHOULD stay home. But she looked up the reservation on her own...

okay so I have been thinking for the last couple days(I know that has been strictly prohibited). So someone posted something about DisDads = BigBrothers. Ever since then I thought about how true this could be. Has anyone ever thought about truely making magic. By this I mean going to the local boys&girls club or school or what ever and talking with a kids parents about allowing you to take them with you on your next trip to Disney. The more I have looked into this I have realized it would not be that much extra to bring an extra kid with. What do you guys think about this? How would you propose doing this?

My daughter is having her sweet 16 at disneyworld. We are taking one of her friends with us as well. She is very motivated in school and is not boy crazy( that I know of!) my point is her friend comes from a home that is not as fortunate as ours and she would never have made it to Disney as a kid. Maybe as an adult ( due to her motivation). That would work out for you as well.. But to arbitrarily get a kid from an open source could be a little difficult. You could end up paying for kid a chaperone and an extra room. Not to mention the liability issues.

We have actually done this very thing… Twice. Having only one young’en, we saw it as both an opportunity to take someone along who might otherwise not have the chance and also give our boy the chance to share the experience with someone else at a pier to pier level rather then just tagging along with folks. The last time we did this was 2008 and the two boys were old enough to be given a couple of chances to strike out on their own (with cell phone in tow obviously). That gave them the chance to experience a little independence and gave me a couple of rare opportunities to spend quality alone time with my “lovely” in one of our favorite places. :goodvibes

Heres a shot of the two of them at the Liberty Tree Tavern.
(BTW: That was one fine meal... Yummmmmm)

I cannot wait to take her friend! I am more excited about her going than my own kids! I know this will be something that she will take with her, her entire life! We rented a limo to pick us up and take us to the airport. And a hummerzinne to take us to the Poly.. Dining plan and they have their own room (connecting rooms) they get to be big girls ( kinda ):rotfl2:
