I had a few minutes waiting for my DW to get ready to go.
This is what I got with the hi-res logo.

Random question. Have any of you guys seen Jake and the Neverland Pirates? My youngest loves it but for some reason the animation reminds me of a kids cereal commercial. :confused3

My son loves it to :) but I wish there were more available on "on demand" from Comcast than the 4 episodes right now.

I messed around on vistaprint.com and came up with this for $14.50 plus shipping. They are usually a little cheaper than zazzle.

I got our teams softball shirts from vistaprint last summer. I thought they were great. As far as the price, I couldn't beat $14 a shirt anywhere.

No, I haven't ordered yet. A high-res version would probably work well on the back and I think it's only about $5 or so to add a back on vistaprint. Thanks!

On our way to our daughter's........she thinks she's in labor! We have grandson babysitting duty! :cool1:

Good luck!! :thumbsup2

Why are worry about zombies when there is already an army of blood thirsty predators outside your door?

Yes that is a squirrel eating a bird.

I hear the recession hit the woodland community particularly hard.

.
That's pretty cool Mike and the price definitely seems hard to beat. I'm going to order one tonight hopefully. I'll post pics once I get it.

Hopefully everyone's having a great Sunday.

Lol. I didn't get a picture of his two friends that were filing for squirrel unemployment.

My big question with this pic is " did the squirrel just find the dead bird or did it catch and kill the bird?". I for one would welcome a new breed of raptor squirrels. They could attack in unison, and fill our local predator void, helping thin the local deer population.

I agree the animation is not the best but my 4yo loves it. Friends of ours were at Disney last week and got him an autograph. That was one happy kid.

Today was our third flag football game of the year. We won 27-26 amid all kinds of controversy. Certainly a lot more then what is needed for a 7-10yo sport. One of my guys had a pass thrown to him, before he got the ball the opposing player pulled his flag (technically pass interference) my player bobbled the ball, got control and ran it in for a TD. The refs called it correctly and gave us the score. the flag was pulled prior to possession. The opposing coach and parents spent the rest of the game arguing with the refs and director of the league about the call. They felt that since the flag was pulled prior to possession, the player should have been called down. What i feel is sad is that my kids fought back from being down and won the game as a team. Then they have to listen to opposing coach and parents saying the only reason we won was because of that play. They did not like my reply that excuses do not win or lose games, team work and performance do.

That's nuts, but unfortunately, all too typical of children's sports. I live up near ESPN, so lots of folks who work for ESPN have children that play on my kids teams. Some of these dads get insanely competitive about their kids sporting teams. My main goal for my child each season is to keep him/her interested enough to want to play again next year. Just have fun, learn the importance of teamwork and stay active. The parents who spend all that time fighting are showing a really bad example.

Forgot to add,

For those Dads interested in joining us in the NCAA Basketball Pool, I added the link to my signature below.

No prizes, just bragging rights (which I guess is prize enough!)

I agree. I coach and it is my responsibility to set an example for these kids. Yelling at the kids from the sideline telling them to shutup (yeah that happened today also) is not the way to do it.

On another note.....1 post till I hit 400!!!! I kn ow not as exciting as Stopher's 10,000 (which is really impressive!:thumbsup2) but i like taking small steps.

WOOOO HOOOOOO!!!! Page Ownage again! Twice in this thread!

OK. I had never ordered from VistaPrint before after uploading a design. The pricing is different than I had expected. They charge $4.99 to upgrade to a black T-shirt from a white one; they are charging $4.99 twice for design uploads (I don't know why unless it's for the front/back or because I uploaded it twice: low res and hi res); and printing on the back is an additional $4.99.
The real bargain is the white T-shirt with printing only on the front. I'll mess around with it some more to see what happens.

T-Shirt (White) $9.49
Uploaded logo/photo/design $4.99
Uploaded logo/photo/design $4.99
Shirt Color Black $4.99
Back Side Printing $4.99
Subtotal $29.45

There's probably a shipping charge to be added to this, also.

UPDATE: An ash gray shirt with printing on the front center (no back) can be had for around $17.50 plus $4.50 or so shipping (21 days). That includes the $4.99 charge for an uploaded image.

Our DD is still in labor at home but things have slowed down a bit.

We are going to be in Paris in the middle of July and been planning our trip there. We have a day we can go to Disneyland Paris or go to Versailles. We were in WDW in Dec last year and will be at DL in April this year. DLP is another version of these two, where Versailles is, well, Versailles. I would like to be able to do both, but I don't think I can. Since you brought it up, I'm going to have to revisit our plans. :coffee:

Great News! After a few hours of planning, we are able to both, so it's Disneyland Paris in July! :cool1:

That sounds like it is going to be a fantastic trip. I'm sure it will make for a great TR.

Mijo I just played around on zazzle and vistaprint with your design. Wound up ordering from vistaprint because I liked front and back printing. Found a coupon for 50% off vistaprint. So it wound up being $17.00 before shipping for the white T. I am not sure if I am allowed to post links to other sites here, so you can find the coupon by doing a google search. I found the coupon on an obeythepurebreed site. Oh and I hope your DD's labor progresses well.

I like it! Imagine about 15 or twenty of us showing up in MK at the same time with these on. They might view it as a hostile takeover :rotfl2:
It will make it even better if we can get somebody with a flag to lead all the DIS Dad's through the park as a group.:rotfl2::lmao:

The design isn't mine this time but I like it! My old design, with Goofy, kinda fizzled when Zazzle wouldn't let us use the word "Club" in it. I gave up at that point. I like the new logo a lot! I don't know when or if I'll be ordering one since we don't have any plans of returning to WDW in the near future. However, if we have the tri-state DIS Dads meet I might get one! Did you get a low resolution error message when you designed yours? I did even with the hi-res image but I did resized it smaller so it might work without looking blurry.
Thanks for the link! :thumbsup2
Our DD's labor has apparently stopped for now. She's not due for 2 more weeks but his one may come early!

About the bad sport stuff... we went to a Boys HS Varsity basketball Sectional championship game last night and boy was it ugly. During the sectionals, I really thought the officials did a good job... probably the best officiating I've seen all season. They let the boys play, as they always do in the postseason, so there were some fouls that went uncalled, but it was called both ways. The host school made it to the finals vs. the school that my wife coaches volleyball for. These teams are extremely intense rivals.

There had been some issues with the host school already in the week (they'd sit in other teams' marked sections so their students wouldn't have enough room). Sure enough for the championship, doors open at 6:30 and shockingly enough, when they let us in the gym was already 3/4 full! And yes, the host team's fans were sitting in the visiting student section. On Friday night, the AD had the nerve to ask an opponents student section to sit down so that the home fans sitting behind them, in the wrong section, could see... pretty ridiculous.

Anyway, all I have to say is that the good guys won :woohoo: and will be playing in the Regionals next Saturday. Last night the home crowd stayed true to their colors and I got to see one of their fans arrested for the second time in the 4 times I've been to their gym this year. The first time a student was led out by the police after running onto the floor, mooning the crowd and flipping off the visiting bench. This time a fan ran down the tunnel after the refs... all the police were clear across the gym trying to keep our fans, who were just standing in the stands cheering off the floor. They couldn't even get through the melee that followed that guy into the tunnel to get to him. The worst part was that they have a really good team, and some really good kids on that team. It was a close, hard fought game and they had to sit out on the court, for about 15 minutes, watching our team celebrate, because they couldn't go to the locker room until the police cleared the area. Such a shame that some people just can't be good sports. :sad2:

On the topic of good sportsmanship though, I saw one of their players come back out onto the floor after he changed clothes and went up to all the seniors on our team to personally congratulate them. Some adults could definitely learn from the maturity of high school kids in this situation.

Our school has an exchange student from Scotland that starts at point guard. He is a good player and said he wanted to come here to experience Indiana high school basketball. The school had a pep rally after the game to greet the team as the bus got back and the coach and a few players got a chance to speak to the crowd. They asked the exchange student if he was rattled by the atmosphere at the championship game and he said that after he saw and heard the crowd during warm ups he thought he might need to change his pants before the game started.:rotfl2::lmao:

Sorry so long winded, but I got a little ticked off last night. Our school has been asking the IHSAA to have sectionals at neutral sites... and we're willing to give up the girls' sectional that we host to make it happen. It just doesn't make sense to have people packed into a gym that can seat about maybe 1000 or 1500 and is home to one of the teams in the sectional when there is a gym that is home to a team playing in a different sectional just a few miles away that seats at least 3 or 4 times as many and that site would be completely neutral.

I didn't get the low resolution message on the front but I did with the image on the back. I was using the high res-image. We are leaving to WDW in less than 14 days, so I just figured I'd run with it and see how it turns out.

The last couple weeks before the baby's due are always exciting.
