OK - for those of you who actually read through those 50+ pages of mostly drivel that we used to close out #6... you will know that I was struggling with whether or not we would actually go on our trip to FL in early April. Well - as of today - unless something changes that causes a trip west (i.e. grandmother, FIL) - we are indeed going. I feel a bit better about it all, and am once again starting to look forward to it. So yay - I'll even give one of these...

When in early April? We may be going April 2 - 6.

I'm going to go with

1) Boma - Flavors of Africa as my favorite resort restaurant
2) 50's Prime-Time Cafe and Yak & Yeti tied as my favorite theme park restaurant
3) Earl of Sandwich as my favorite counter-service, non-resort, non-theme park restaurant

Wow, we have a lot in common. I love all of those!

While we were on Juliana's WISH trip in December, my DW Melody wasn't feeling herself. After a trip to Walmart and a test, we found out that Melody is pregnant! Her due date is August 13 which was the day of Juliana's last chemo treatment.


AND we are having a boy!!!!!

Anyone use GPS on thier trips? This is our first time driving and I thought about just using Google Maps or the GPS on my crappy Droid. Anyone have suggestions for GPS units????

we have a nuvi. i dont use it for directions on our wdw trips but for mph and other info.

Had one of those weird days. I stayed home with sick child and had time to think. A friend from high school, who I had not seen in 20 years but found on FB, died yesterday of cancer. He was 38. I try to live in the moment & save for retirement, but this just gave me pause. Am I doing enough for them? Am I here enough? Just too much time to think.

sorry to hear about your classmate. i lost my parents when i was 16 and 17. i had a brother who died of limphoma at 42. i try to live every day buddy, try not to sweat the small stuff and enjoy every second. my mother in law allways says about all the money we could save if we didnt go to wdw. i dont want to die with a big bank account and sit at home, we love spending time together, going to wdw, going out to eat, even though it is just cracker barrel or the local dinner. my mother in law,70, still thinks she going to spend all that money where she going. its only the past few years that they have started to travel, buying the good lunch meat and enjoying them selfs a little.

Dave - thanks. Ron and the crew tried hard - but ultimately, I slowed it down...purposely... and then went to bed!

I don't know that it WILL be today - it MIGHT be today, it MIGHT be tomorrow. But no doubt it will be this weekend.
