So, our copy of Tangled arrived today, and like the proud DisDad, I popped it into the DVD player, gathered my two Princesses around the TV and started watching. A little while into it, my oldest said, "My tummy is growling", just then I remembered that I had already started dinner, and I couldn't have timed the smoke alarm going off any better.......guess it's pizza and a movie night....

Sorry Oscar, but

ROFLMAO
:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl:

(Primarily because it sounds exactly like something I would do). :blush:

mmmmmmmmmmmmm Bacon. Last Friday on Shark Tank they had a guy trying to get them to invest in an alarm clock that would wake you up with cooked bacon. What an idea. :thumbsup2

on another note, just got off the phone with Comcast...added the Premiere Bundle which gives me 5 more movie channels and about 30 new sports channels! woohoo! 35 more channels to surf through that won't actually have anything interesting on.

Actually one I'm happy about is Fox Sprts Pacific...I'm a USC Trojan fan...and since they have started to suck most of their games are on that...and since I'm on the east coast I get squat. Nice for me!

Luckily it's a comfortable 76 outside, got the windows open and the fans kicking to air the place out.....

ahem..it's a comfortable 30 degrees out...whew is it hot in here! Oh wait..darnit...I can't post on this thread. DOH!

30? I don't even know what 30 feels like....anything under 50 is dang cold...

My wife agrees. We tried to move to Florida last year (yes, to be closer to the mouse), but couldn't sell our house. Apparently people are getting smart and not moving to the great white north! :)

we're part of the not so smart crowd as we're trying to get out of here. My wife got a job with the DOJ in Indianapolis, but about 4 weeks into her background investigation, they instigated a hiring freeze. So we're in a holding pattern for right now, sold our house short and are now renting, just waiting to pull the trigger.

Grrrrr... Nothing like going through 15 pages and clicking the multi-quote button and then have the browser crash! I was going to reply to everyone's posts, but I just don't have the energy to go back and select them again :lmao:

For the shirts, I believe I have enough dads interested to get the ball rolling on an order. So.... this is what I plan on doing:

- Create an order form for interested dads to fill out
- Set deadline for order submissions
- Create and send out PayPal invoices to each dad for their order
- Send order to local print shop. They require 50% down when order is placed which I will take care of.
- When the shirts arrive, I will ship out the orders using USPS flat rate shipping once payment is made by PayPal. $4.95 to anywhere sounds good to me. I may have to charge more for shipping for more than 2 shirts. Currently, the medium box is $10.95 flat rate. I need to get to USPS and see the sizes I'm working with. If anyone has some shipping tips, send me a PM please! :)

If interested, please use this link to place your order:

DIS Dad Club Shirt Order Form

Just ordered mine! Thanks for doing this, Don!

So, 10 XLs and 7 XXLs so far. I wonder why no larges? :confused3

ok, this is the next project on the honey due list. i need to paint the mail box. the disney char. are metal and they are removalable. i need some ideas what color to paint it other than the antique green that it was. rob had said to paint the box black on the bottom, red on the top with two yellow dots on the door. if i did that, what color would you paint the metal char.? i will probley just buy a new mail box instead of messing with this one.

How about PINK? :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Whew! Just got caught up on 10 pages. That's what I get for taking a night off! :rotfl2:

Got my shirt ordered. We should start a photo game of posting pictures of yourself in the shirt at different famous places (besides Disney World) - ie. Times Square, Grand Canyon, etc.

What about painting the characters silver and use black for their features, i.e. eyes, nose, etc.

Dave, that is VERY, VERY impressive! Love the Mickey-head carpet. Did you do that yourself?
yes, we have a bath mat with the mm head and i used that as a template. trace out the mm head out on the back of the area rug and cut the area rug out. worked out nicely. thanks.:thumbsup2
