The work from home thing never works for me Too many distractions.

I've been working from my favorite coffee shop for the last six hours.
I went into the office first, but people kept interrupting me. The phone was ringing. Work Email was coming in. The front of the office was chattering about the legal tech who'd been on maternity leave since November and who's coming back to work on a part-time basis on Thursday. People kept sticking their heads in my office to get my opinion on stuff.

Finally, I just packed up the stuff I was using to write my brief and headed to the coffee shop. Sure, there are random people talking around me. And good jazz music playing in the background. And easy access to the Internet. But none of those things were DEMANDING my attention. I got a TON of writing done, and am finally through with the penultimate draft of my Post-Trial Brief. I always put it aside and then go back over it one last time after I think I'm done, just to make sure I didn't miss anything. But I feel pretty good about this one.
