Newbie here! I have three kids (DD7, DS3 and DD1). We're about 242 days from our next trip (hoping the crowds aren't too bad in April - heard mixed things about that) staying at SSR.

We live in Western MA so hopefully don't have to worry too much about Earl, Fiona, etc.

Thanks for all the welcomes!

Arriving April 13. Easter is on April 24, I'm hoping most spring breaks are the week of April 17. We plan on hitting the parks 14, 15, 16 and relaxing the rest (maybe Universal or Sea World.)

I'm arriving the day before Easter stay at THV hoping that most peoples break is the week before Easter, I know that MA. is NH is the week after Easter.

Awesome! Some of my favorite pictures from Disney are of the Princesses with my little DD when she was verrrrry tiny. Enjoy her!

Yeah. Waiting an hour for the school bus. Not cool. I almost hope it had mechanical or other problems as at least that would be some excuse. Did they ever say what it was?

First day of Kindergarten is supposed to be memorable, just not for this reason.

Turns out they posted 8:00 as the time for all 3 of the pickup points for his route. They said to be there at 8:30-8:40 from now on. Any frustrations for the day were erased when I picked him up and he was grinning ear to ear telling me what a great day he had and how much he loves kindergarten:cool1:. He told me he made a new friend, when I asked what his name was he informed me it was a girl:lovestruc. When I asked what they did he informed me "Not much, we just laid beside each other at nap time":scared1:.

party:party:Awesome news! Hope your wife is doing well, give her a day or two to recover before informing her that although this is a joyous occasion having another female in the house she is still outnumbered so the toilet seat will remain up.

Seriously though, with all the not so great news we've had around here lately this was great! Hopefully this is the start of a streak of good news for us all.
Name?

Hey dads, as usual I am coming back on after being gone for several months. I see that yet another thread has had to be started! Thats so awesome! It looks like I will get to spend a lot more time keeping up with things as I have made a life changing decision in this last week. I have started a home business. I am more scared than I can say, but even more excited. This means that I will be home with my family. I even started coaching my son's soccer team! We have had two practices so far and I have to say that the enjoyment has rivaled anyhting that i have ever experienced. Im sorry I rambled but I had to share this excitement with some one. Thanks for listening and I hope tht every one has a terrific weekend!!

AND we had some pts to burn or we'd loose them , so we figgured, what the heck and upgraded our ressies..we are now @ AK for 4 nites and 2 nites in a GV with 6 of us!!!! I think we will have a bit of room eh? At least we will get the lowdown on the GV's before the 'big' june trip with everyone...
:dancer:party::dancer:

Did you ask for the GV in Jambo or Kidani? The Jambo House ones are single story but have a pool table. The Kidani Village ones are two story, but don't have the pool table.

Congratulations on making such a life changing decision and here is hoping that it will give you all the success and time with your family you hoped it would!

That made me laugh.

We're starting to move our 3yr old boy from his crib to a bed this week. Last night he was laying in bed and I went to close the shades (the bed is right in front of the window) and he says "Oh, now at bedtime I can call out the window to Skye and ask her to come over." Skye is the neighbor's 4 yr old girl.

Greetings fellas! I'm a newbie to the boards, but have definitely found them useful! My family (myself, my wife, and our 23 month old son) are headed to WDW for our 1st family vacation, on September 30 through October 4. It's a short trip, but we'll be celebrating my son's 2nd birthday. I think that I'm the most excited out of the three of us. We plan on hitting Mickey's Not So Scary party on our last night, so this will be a trip of many firsts for us.

I have most of our days planned:

Thursday (arrival around noon):
Swimming at All Star Sports, and dinner at T-Rex (our little guy loves dinosaurs)

Friday (son's birthday):
Magic Kingdom, dinner at 50's Prime Time.

Saturday:
Animal Kingdom

Sunday:
Hollywood Studios, dinner at The Plaza & MNSSHP

This is my second trip, but the wife and son's 1st. I hope that everything goes well. I'm just hoping that the weather cooperates for us. All this hurricane talk is making me nervous!

I might have you beat! On the first day of Kinderfarten the parents went and Ethan was seated by a girl he went to pre school with for the past two years...When the teach came to where they were Gracie immediately introduced Ethan to the teacher as her husband. She said that they got married at pre school last year  I do know that she gave him her phone number but I did not get an invite to the wedding :rotfl2:

Sorry I missed it. I was out of town today and did not get back to late (I am on CT in KY). Thanks for the auto picks - they look great :scared1:

Note to self... do not let my daughters play "kindergarten" with Tutter's son.

Draft went well, although too quick for my part as I missed the first half. Good luck on finishing second!

Glad you found us, Emma's Dad should be along soon to formally give you your serial number and name plate. Your trip sounds like fun and I'm sure your DS will have a blast!

Way to go Ethan! Where are they registered? I'd like to pick them up a plastic toaster. Does Power Wheels make a minivan?
