Well, we need to rectify that. Next time you're there, just grab a few t-shirts, coffee mugs, and keychains from the gift shop. If someone tries to stop you, just say, "It's ok. I'm a stockholder."

I Loved the Hobbit and the LOTR Books...the LOTR movies...not so much...with the exception of Gollum/Smegul and Samwise Gamgee.

Except when watching the movies, I was cheering for Sam to push Frodo in the fire. I was tired of all that incessant wining.

I did not start the thread, but thought the subject line was interesting and replied on page 1; however, when you get to pages 2 or 3, people start arguing about whether or not OP talked about using food stamps to go to WDW. Then the argument gets crazy from there. And, the mods did not shut it down . . .

I don't know if it was the whining or the infinate shots of Frodo holding that d@#n ring in his hand and looking like a crack-head needing his next fix.

I'm always nervous about rehabs and ride closures. I was hoping my kids would get to do the Star Tours ride before it closes. All Ears has it being closed in October, while wdwinfo has it down starting 9/8/2010. I'm hoping it's the former. I was also reading in that IASW thread that Toy Story Mania was supposed to be down for rehab, but I haven't found confirmation anywhere. That one would hurt, since I've never ridden it. I'm hoping that one's not true.

If nothing else, the 12 endings for the last movie must have gotten to you guys. That and the talking trees were my pet peeves.

Just found this and I've got to get into this club.

Proud father of an (almost) 4 month old boy and I'm already trying to convince the wife we need to take him to WDW next year (take advantage of it before we have to pay for him )

We have no trips planned as of now... well at least on paper, but I'm always doing what ifs and planning in my head, so I know this is the place for me.

Well, we agree on Star Tours. And, TSM is a must at DHS along with TOT and RNRC. We weren't planning on doing DHS this year, but I hope they both work out for your trip.

stitchkingdom.com is reporting TSM closed for refurb from August 15 - September 5. As I understand it, there's no refurb of the ride system itself planned. It's just a refresh of "wear items". I know they're adding characters from TS3 to some of the games (Trixie joins Rex in what used-to-be Bo-Peep's balloon popping game and is supposed to have something to do with a volcano; Lotsa Hugs the bear gets added somewhere; a couple of other characters get added to the final scene), but I'm not sure if that's happening in August or if they're doing that part sooner.

Yes the Pirates are dangerous...especially on cruise Trip reports, but it did make for fun reading LOL! Have fun on your trip think of the rest of us at home while you are there!!

i cant complain, when dd was real small we would drive at night so she slept most of the way and we had a potty with wee wee pads in it just in case. now, the past few years she sits in the back with her i pod and sleeps. now, shes asking to let her drive!! maybe next year! im hoping she will still be going with us in a few years than dw and i cant sit in the back of the van with the dvd player and sleep and let her do the driving.

I'm working on it.
According to the settings as I have them set, we should already have a directory of DISDads.com Email addresses in our Contacts. But they're not there. I'm trying to figure out what's going on, but not making much headway.
