Today was payday so I guess I get to push us to $700!:cool1:
I grew up about an hour from where you are. Across the river from Port Huron, MI.
What did they ever end up doing with Boblo Island?

Thanks for the help with GKTW! I moved here 15 years ago and Boblo was already closed but my wife used to go there all the time. A developer bought the island and was going to put up luxury homes and I think they built a few but it never took off. I know they are currently trying to refurbish the Boblo Boat for river tours.

Oops. I had you pegged as an Indy guy. Please accept my apologies. On the other hand, being a Detroit guy, I guess that was a compliment. :lmao:

I hate to say it but with the current state of the city and state of Michigan being called an Indy guy might be a step up.

Buy only 2 tickets- take a buddy and make him pay for his ticket. Then get him drunk and make him pay for all your beers and food. Problem solved!! You can send me $50 for saving you MEGA deniro!!!! :goodvibes

We're leaving about 12:00 from Raleigh and are staying tomorrow night at the Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Airport. Hopefully we'll get in about 7:00pm.

Wave at me at Exit 1 in Georgia (just North of Jacksonville)...

Back on down to 75 in Camden County---just out of the construction zone in Georgia, my buddies are out there "tourist hunting":lmao::lmao:

Word of Caution...you will be in Heavy Construction South of Savannah all the way through Brunswick....it sucks and most of it has a closed shoulder---really fun towing a boat, and it was NASTY during spring break:headache:

I don't want to give too much away but can you say matching super cool shirts!:cool1:

The sales rep. was in today with the answer, who carries them. Unfortunately they are not availible in this region, she said they were availible in the southern region that would include Fla., but was unable to find out if any stores carried them. It could be exclusively for WDW:confused3

I remember that stretch from September, they ever going to finish it? Normally don't go more than 5 over, it only saves me 30 or 40 minutes on a 9 hour trip and the ticket isn't worth it.

Last fall right as we were gettiing close to Orlando had cars on both sides of me and the semi in front of me blew a tire on the trailer. I have never seen anything like it in my life, had chunks of rubber bouncing off my windshield and no where to go:scared1:

I had that happen last summer. I was passing a truck. Just as I pulled even with the tires on the trailer, it blew a retread. I had nowhere to go. It busted up the front grill. Luckily, there was no damage to the radiator or anything as we were about 15 miles into a 200 mile trip. :headache:

Hey DDC! Just wanted to say hello. Don't vote me out for being AWOL. I'll do better!:scared1:

You are still the clubs leader and we are not planning a coup.

I was behind a car going about 70 mph that had the entire wheel come off. The car slammed on the brakes but the wheel bounced and kept rolling forward. The wheel began to bounce higher and higher and eventually slammed into a large green metal highway sign and completely obliterated it like it was paper. :scared1: It could have easily killed someone.
