I have a job, working is what I'm not doing today! :lmao:

Conspiracy Theory

Exhibit # 2 Page #281 post # 4206 (the last post of DDCII)

Coincidence, I think not! :teacher:

As long as Jessie Ventura is not following him around, it's all good:lmao:

Hey, they are advertising a Taco Bell drive through diet. I think it makes perfect sense. You are on the crapper so much afterwords, think how much weight you can lose if you drive through 3 times a day. I made a run for the border and it ran through me.

:lmao::rotfl2:

That stuff is liquid plumber for your stomach!

Internet was down at work today. :surfweb:

ddc2 closed and I didn''t get in on it.

:badpc:

Wow! It's been a while since I have checked in here. I don't think there was even a DisDads2 last time. I'm an early member # 18 but I have spent much of my time on the camping boards and lately on the DVC boards, we're new to that. I have a lot of catching up to do on here. So I just wanted to say hello to all the other Dad Disney addicts out there. Stay warm everyone! Better be warm before the end of february!!!!

Good to see you!

As far as El Taco Bello goes... it doesn't matter if I eat there or some other Mexi place. It's all the same to my gut.

We had some friends over tonight for dinner. Their DD is the same age as our middle DD... they go to school together. Anyway, they are going to The World the same time we are in May! So, they came over so we could talk about the trip. They have never been before and we helped them map out some of their trip. They had a ton of questions. We picked some TS meals to eat together and some days to spend together in the parks.

While we were discussing which days to go to which parks the Dad said, "This is really confusing. It's giving me a headache!" I think they were a little overwhelmed. They did decide on the parks and their meals, so they can make their ADRs. We had a lot of fun telling stories from when we've been before and it was nice to talk about the trip.

I should start a business helping people plan their trips to The World! :woohoo: I've been trying to think of some kind of business to start. :cool2:

Me too. I am so fed up with work right now, and so thrilled to officially be on vacation now for 2 weeks. I've been thinking through several options for months now. Hopefully this spring or summer I can make one of them happen.

My in-laws asked today if they can take my son to WDW in July. This will be his 3rd trip with them he has been there twice with us. He turns 5 in August and will have been to WDW 5 times, when we go in Dec. it will be 6. My sister has 2 kids 7 & 4 who have not gone yet, she thinks they are too young, I can't figure out what they are waiting for?:confused3

hes going to be in the same club as dd. shes 16 and has been the 20 times. i love when people say they are to young? thats the best time to take them, when there young. dd has a great time when we go and i dont see when see will stop going but the look on her face now to the mouse isnt the same as it was when she was 2-3 years old.

Chris,
Have a great trip!!!

Thanks! The washer/dryer are working hard now so we can pack. There's nothing quite like waiting til the last minute! :rotfl: But, we know what we need, and honestly have a lot of stuff down there already waiting to be delivered to the resort, so it's not that big of a deal anymore. With 2 lockers stuffed with items to make our vacations easier & very home like - packing on this end really isn't too bad. All we need to worry about are clothes & something to do read or watch on the plane - and not forget the laptop for working on a live TR... My DD is so very excited - about the packing part :lmao: Of course for the trip too - but for her right now it's the packing that's just floating her boat. :)

We had my son's birthday party last night. It was a sleepover one. His 4 best buds were here. Pizza, cake, Wii games competition, more snow falling outside, presents, candy, watching the RETURN OF THE KING and up til 3 am... what more can you ask for when you're 11?

Here's a pic of the LOTR themed cake I did. I struggled with this one a bit but in the end I liked it. I ended up going with a "shire" based theme with a hobbit hole, since the figures we had were Bilbo, Frodo & Sam. He really liked though, which was really all that mattered - so I'm happy. It was actually kind of neat, because we didn't have much to decorate with like with Star Wars, Spiderman etc, just the 3 hard cover books and 3 DVD boxes. So I borrowed a very cool map of Middle Earth from one our scouting friends and some other items. He knew those items were on loan and asked his mom yesterday morning, very forlorn-like... "are the figures on the cake borrowed too?" Apparently he did a dance for joy when she told him that no, the figures were his...she'd found them on eBay. He was ecstatic... then even more so when he opened up his gifts from us and found a complete set (unopened) of LOTR Return of the King trading cards, a Legolas action figure and his own set of 4 Maps of Middle Earth. Definitely made up for having had to borrow a few decorations!

Additionally I was able to print out a whole bunch of photo images of characters, film scenes and mini-posters that we put up all around the house - and a very cool ring graphic for placemats... he was quite pleased. I tell ya, it's hard to pull stuff out of a hat sometimes, but we pulled it off :wizard:

Stopher: All I can say is that your cake skillz are awesome! :thumbsup2 My birthday is in May... I'm thinking of a WDW themed cake, maybe a bus with goofy driving all my DisDad friends. :lmao:

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I see that somehow Emma's Dad was finally able to get the last word. I'm totally in on the conspiracy theory. ;)

Its FIL's B-day today so we're heading over there in a bit to celebrate. We were able to find a case of wine that he really enjoys but cannot get locally so We'll all get to celebrate today as he said he plans to share. :cool1:

Chris that is amazing. Great job on the cake.

We are heading to my in laws today for Christmas this afternoon. Can't wait till this is over.

Has anyone seen the new ad for the five day six nights at Disney? I just caught the end of the commercial and I thought that they said you get a $750 gift card.

Thanks.

From what I've read about the new promo over on Mousesavers.com, depending on the resort tier you choose, you can get UP TO a $750 GC. That's for deluxe. I believe mods are $500 and values are $300. The promo dates run 1/3 - 6/3/10, and it must be booked by 3/27/10.
