Actually that's not Epcot, but the old entrance way into Tomorrowland - the imagineers had some fanciful notion of the future being filled with white columns with mural tiles I guess when they designed TL back in the '60's. Then the young buck whipper snappers of the early 90's decided the future would be filled with bronze, rocks & neon as we find TL today ... whatever

Wow! Talk about a blast from the past. Although I think that's Tomorrowland, not EPCOT. Maybe?

ok got a question for you guys.I may be a little slow and behind but I just saw that one of the quiet pools at SSR will be redone. They are adding a nice 145 ft slide and pool will be 3 times bigger they will add a snack bar ect.My question is does anyone know which pool is being done?Hopefully its not the grandstand pool as that is where we go to stay away from bigger crowds at theme pool.I am guessing they are talking about the pool by Paddocks building to make them a little bit more of a crowd pleaser.Any one know anything aout the new pool?

New feature pool in the works

Work is scheduled to begin this spring on a new feature pool in the Paddock area of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, building on the resort's turn-of-the-20th-century, upstate New York theme.

Plans call for the new pool, scheduled for completion in mid-2011, to replace the Paddock area's 1,100-square-foot quiet pool with a 3,300-square-foot zero-depth-entry pool, a 146-foot water slide, a 1,600-square-foot wet-play area, an expanded pool deck spanning more than 11,000 square feet and, for hungry swimmers and sunbathers who'd rather not make the trip across the lake to Artist's Palette, an on-site, quick-service-dining location.

nice pics barry!!! if i only had a scanner and knew how to use one. in our honeymoon album, 1985, i have on a white shirt with just married and our names on it, blue gym shorts,(high and tight, white socks with 2 red strips on them up to my knees.and hair!!!

I have no idea who these people are. I wasn't able to find any pictures of me or my brother with characters. I asked my mom about it and she told me the lines were too long, so she took pictures of other people with the characters. Thanks, mom.

Mom was just way ahead of her time, she knew in the future you would be able to remove the strangers and photo-shop yourself in.
