I know!! I saw that a couple of days ago. So wish I could be out there in February or March. Not sure exactly what "Limited Time" means. Cheesy as it is/was - I really liked EO - much, much more than HISTA (which is in the same theatre now). I remember when they covered over the old Space place outdoor theatre to make EO fit in for the space. I loved Angelica Huston as the evil leader/queen. And Hooter, and Idie & Odie... I'm hoping that "limited time" engagement can last to early summer when we're planning on being out there. MJ was my DW's hands-down favorite artist in her youth - so she loved the show too, though for very different reasons than me. She realy wants to see it again too (it's just not the same on you tube!)

So my in-laws decided to treat us to Le Cellier when we're down in March. It took a bit of searching on Disney's reservations site, but I was able to score a table for 6 at 1:25 on March 9. None of us have ever been there, but we're all buying into the hype as it's always been on our "we've got to do this" list. Have any of you guys been there? Does it live up to it's reputation? Any recommendations from the menu?

We ate there once as part of our Christmas Processional package. The Cheddar Cheese soup was great. I had a Buffalo steak which was good but different from a regular steak. The atmosphere is nice.

:lmao: sorry to be a story hog but ,yup, christams eve 2004 we ate le cellier. it was good but we have to do it again. it was late, our adr was after the candle light process. show and it was cold. (cold enough we had frost on our windows at okw. if anyone has stayed at okw in the frost, the place isnt built to be heated.) anyway we were wrapped up in blankets and we were tired. we have tried the last few trips to get in but havent been able to.

We went down once in early December and we had a couple of cold nights. We did MVMCP and it was actually cold enough to really snow on Main Street! We also did an Illuminations Cruise and we ended up with blankets and hot chocolate to keep warm.

the only two places we havnt eatin at yet, norway,(i dont eat fish) and marocco( no offense to our moroccan dads but its writen in english and i still dont know what it is.:lmao:) mk, we have hit eveything and in mgm we managed to hit everything. never eating at prime time again!:lmao: the last ten years or so we have been going to eat more than anything it seems.:lmao:its funny, when you quit smoking you can taste food again.

Akkershus used to be one of our favorites when it was still a buffet. I'm not a big fan of fish, either, but there were plenty of other things on the buffet to keep me happy. Morocco is one of my favorites, maybe because I grew up in a Lebanese neighborhood. They have a book with photos of all the meals, Dave, so it's not too bad. Just go with the Shish-ke-bob! By the way, I saw Craig at work today. He said their next trip is being planned for 2011.

Awesome!
Dare I ask if there will be a pre-trip report? :lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Ummmm... perhaps I should finish my other TR first? :rotfl2: We'll see. I can't imagine much to talk about for the Pre-TR.

Congrats Don, that's awesome! :thumbsup2

Thanks :) I'm soooo excited! We ended up getting the $500 gift card deal for booking a package at CSR. Was hoping for the 4/3 deal, but this will work out good too.

That's Awesome!:woohoo: Nice time of the year to go. Don't forget to use the countdown clock.

I love that time of the year... not too crowded... spring breakers are gone... and warm enough for the pools. :love:
Thanks for the countdown clock reminder... doing that now. :thumbsup2

Emma's Dad --- Congrats on the trip... these 5 months are sure to go fast!

I just joined the Facebook group. For some reason I didn't realize there was a DIS DADs group on there. I think I spend too much time playing bejewled! LOL:goodvibes

I know, right?? Yours is just around the corner, too. And don't get me started on Bejeweled Blitz... that game is evil. I just got the following email from the PopCap team asking me to try out an exclusive beta version of their game (I took out the URL to get to the game). It's pretty cool... you get various coins while you play and they get banked. When you reach certain amounts you can "purchase" an ability.. like blow up all "bomb" gems, automatically get a multiplier, etc.

We're happy to announce that we are giving some select users access to new features in Bejeweled Blitz. You've been selected as a user who's registered for the Bejeweled Blitz tournament and given us permission to email you about Bejeweled Blitz-related news.

The new features we've added are "Boosts and Coins". As you play this special version, you'll earn coins you can use to occasionally activate boosts - fun bonus abilities that will give you a bit of an edge in some games.

If you'd like to help us test these new features, please visit the following URL:

<REMOVED LINK>

While you're there, please click on the big button at the top to tell us what you think. And if you encounter any problems, please tell us about them by clicking on that same button.

We're committed to providing the highest-quality experience to Bejeweled Blitz players, and your participation and feedback in this beta test will help us do that!

See you there!

Sincerely,

Scott Lantz

At the home stretch now, 2 days to go. Got most of my work done, been camped out at the office for a few days now. Exhausted, but nothing a certain mouse can't fix. DW did some packing this weekend, the weather looks decent, maybe some rain, but mid 70's during the day, down to 50's/60's at night. Going down to Miami the night before, after work to see my sister (what do you give a coma patient for Christmas?), then back to WPB for a couple hours sleep before hitting the road. CD's & iPod fully loaded for three trecherous hours of "She hit me" & "Are we there yet?". Oral surgery from a few weeks back is healed, I can chew again, and since the little one is just a bit too small to ride on anything, she and I will be eating our way through MK, while DW & DD1 ride stuff. Will try to post from inside. Then MAYBE I'll do a TR......

:banana::banana::banana: I'm excited for ya! You'll have to at least give us a report of how you braved the crowds this holiday season :santa:

WE DID IT! Finally pulled the trigger on our 4/27 trip to WDW!:woohoo: Officially 126 days, baby!
:dancer:party::dancer:

:woohoo: congrats don!!! i see dw is coming around! she'll be planing your next trip before this one is over.:thumbsup2 looking forward to the new trip report in 136 days or so!:woohoo:

We get a lot more ice than snow. When it snows, it's usually gone in a few hours or the next day. When an ice storm comes through, we're frozen in for 2 weeks. Lots of limbs down, power lines go down, people living without electricity for 7-10 days... loads of fun.:eek:

Of course the highway department either salts/sands the roads when it's not needed, or wait too late and can't get the roads cleared. So, it's a mess either way. And no one around here knows how to drive on ice. I love it, but avoid other people at all costs. :thumbsup2

1999 and 2000 we had actual snowstorms, one of them was on top of ice. That was fun. That was when I drove 20 miles through the snow, to get stranded at my DW's (then fiance's) parent's house! :lmao:

i stay home in the ice. to many hills and mountains around here.

have a good time oxar!!! have a safe 3 hour ride!!!:thumbsup2 watch out for those tourist!!!

Food is so subjective, but I can tell you that we love it there. We've eaten there twice, and it's our favorite restaurant at WDW (note: have not tried any of the super-high-end gourmet places).

Cheddar cheese soup was terrific as an appetizer. They give you bread as well and it's great for dipping in the soup. I had filet tips at one meal (it was the special that day) and a maple-glazed filet the next time. Both were extremely tender and melted in my mouth. Some of the best steaks I've had. So yeah, I think you'll like it! :thumbsup2

CAPTAIN, did i read somewere you got your wife a new vac. cleaner for christams? :worship::worship: YOUR THE MAN!!! :worship:
