wow, think of the eight years of fines and pen. for the taxs being paid late!you will probley owe them 20k by the time they are done.:lmao:

Geez I had not even thought about that!!! Funny thing is that this past summer we got a love note from the IRS that said our 2007 return had a mistake and that we owed them 1400. Uuuugh! We got that just days after booking a Disney cruise.

In August I was very hesitant to buy an iPhone because I didn't want to be accessible by email 24/7, but my assistant's smart phone was dying so I bought her and I iPhones. Then one thing led to another.

First I found podcasts including the DIS Unplugged and I found an outlet for my passion for Disney that has been with me for 32 of my 41 years. Then that led me to the boards. Then tonight I stumble upon this thread.

I'm sure everyone has the same story about how your passion for Disney makes you feel somewhat like an outcast. Sure, I love betting football, racing cars, my GSXr, but Disney? Was something wrong? What am I reaching for in my childhood that wasn't satisfied?

Well, it doesn't matter now. As I can see, there are ten's of thousands of us out there. I am passionate about my family, career and Disney! Yeah, that's right, I used the love smile!

Now...can someone call my wife and tell her I'm not the only one?:earsboy: And as Walt said "it all started with a iPhone."

:welcome: I'll call your wife, if you'll call mine! :lmao:
Have you seen the app for the iPhone from touringplans.com? It think it's more of a mobile site, than an app. It's supposedly accessible by more than just the iPhone, but I can't get it to work on my bb Bold. Just wondering if you knew, and maybe what you thought of it. :thumbsup2
BTW - the touring plan guys are in a podcast that posts 3 times a week

Hey there guys.

Sorry I've been absent for a while, re-entry back to work/home life after Disney can be tough. Also DW has been down with something for the past week.

We're still planning on doing the TR, but its taking a bit of readjustment to real life again.

Hope everyone is doing well and FedFuzz gets home safe, sound and soon!

Quick question: Has anyone been able to get access to their photopass pics from the web site? We have an ID and I can "see" the pics, but I wanted to use some of them in the TR. It looks like I'll have to wait to order the CD before I get access to the graphic files. Any other suggestions?

Thanks guys!

Hey Guys! Long time lurker....my wife and I share this Login and I'm actually posting on it for the first time! We're going to the World in 3 days man! Can't wait....wish I had an iPhone too....hmmm....Maybe I'll ask Santa Mickey for one while I'm down there....:goodvibes

Welcome back to the real world.
I don't think you can link to them. They're only available for 30 days after you get back from your trip, so the wouldn't work well for a TR anyway.

I hope DW starts feeling better!

We are still getting new members nearly every day. This is great...

Middlepat..I agree that readjusting to "normal" life at home is hard to do. I am ready to go back. If that backpay thing at work pans out I think I might smell an earlier than planned return trip!:cool1:

I see their are a lot of guys from Pa & NJ has anyone every done the Autotrain. I'm from NJ and it's like a 20hr drive plus eating, bathroom breaks, getting gas, and sleeping over somewhere it turns into a 2 day trip. Plus when you get there your beat.
The last three trips to WDW we took the train, getting older and the back can't take the drive. Anyway you get to take your car with all your stuff, they feed you dinner & breakfast and you get to sleep.:woohoo: It leaves Va. at 4pm and you get off in Fl. around 9:30 am you are about 35miles from WDW, With your car, rested and ready to go. Does anyone else travel by the train?

That is a VERY cool idea. How does the price compare to flying down and renting a car?

Seeing the Disney Princess pictures back on page 154 reminds me of a funny story.

Quite a while ago, when I was single, I worked at a few radio stations here in the northeast and I was pretty knowledgeable about music.
Fast forward to me being married with two dd's and no longer in the music industry. We were at a dinner party and there was a conversation about current alternative music and someone was asking about a certain group/ song, so they turned to me (since they new I was a DJ) and asked for the correct answer. I told them I did not know. I paused for a moment... then I said I was no longer up on current pop/rock music, but I could name all of the Disney Princesses. :lmao:
The look on my friends faces was priceless. :scared1:

Then to top it off, I told them Cinderella was my favorite.:thumbsup2

That's a great story

I have several friends that don't "get the Disney stuff", obviously they have gotten too old to have fun...or so I tell them.

If you are a member of Triple A you get a discount. We are a member for coach seats plus oversized vehicle (mini van):rotfl: for 2 adults and 1 child roundtrip was 727 and change. You can upgrade to a sleeping car but the cost is up there. It leaves from Lorton Va (about 10 m past DC) and arrives in Sanford Fl. The closer to the date it goes up so if you know early when you are going, you could save some bucks.

No problem. :thumbsup2 Surely it won't take you as long as 'some other' people. (no names mentioned) :rolleyes1

That sounds cool. Wish there were something like that from here. It's a 17 hour drive for us. I looked into Amtrak, just to see what it would be like. It's a 3 day adventure to get from here to Orlando. Oh well.

Am I just getting old or are there no good movies being made these days? Recently, besides No Country for Old Men and There Will be Blood, I've no desire to see a movie in the theaters. And I'm having trouble filling my Netflix queue.

Any suggestions?:confused3 Probably doesn't help that I just got done watching Taxi Driver.

Your not getting old, there's nothing worth watching at the the movies. The only ones I went to so far this year was Transformers 2 Revenge Of The Fallen & Toy Story 1 & 2 in 3D.
My next movie worth watching looks like The Princess And The Frog in a couple of weeks.
