Dads with boys that visit the princesses for pics also get some extra attention.

Open question to all the DVC Dad's, have any of you stayed at the Boardwalk DVC resort? How did you like it? Would you reccomend staying there or possibly buying there? We are considering joining and I am wondering what you fellas think.

For all you guys that are not DVC members, have you rented points off these boards before and how were your experiences. I am considering renting for next years trip in Jan/Feb and was curious if any of you have done this and with what success.

I know there is a separate board for DVC renting and I think we are not supposed to talk $ here, but I was lokking for a general idea of what my fellow Dis Dads thought of both options.

bwv is our home resort but we never stayed there. if you comfortable renting points from a member, i would do that first before you jump in. just make sure you buy into the resort you are planning to stay at as your first choice. if not, you have to wait for your 7mon window to book and the people who have that as there home resort have a 4 mon. jump on you. when we joined the big resort was bwv, we couldnt get in so we ended up at okw and loved it. now there fighting over blt and animal.

allegiant air??????????? good luck!! one of my good friends is a captain for allegiant!! when you get on the plane, and the captain says im captain ray, just get off the plane!!! ive flown with him in one of his private planes, i should of known when i got in and there was a 5 point seat belt!!!! i was upside down before we hit 5000 feet!!! i all most lost my lunch after that ordeal!!thats what i get for flying with a exnavy f18 pilot!! we flew down the hudson in ny city the friday before sept 11th, my other buddy snapped a pic of the twin towers, we were lower than the towers .he has that pic framed in his office at the local airport were he flies out of. your in good hands if hes the pilot, you just maybe upside down from wv to orlando!!

We are heading down to Disney in Feb. We are staying at the Boardwalk and I know it has the ESPNZone, but our second day there happens to be Super Bowl Sunday. We are using ME, and buses to get around and not renting a car.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good place other than ESPN, cause I know I'm gonna have to be there like at 1 pm to get a table and rather be in the parks with the fam and miss, yes miss, all the pre pre pre pre pre pre game stuff. But would like a place to watch, if possible, and hoist a few.

Atta boy! He knows what to look for. I try not to look (try not to get caught). I have a VERY gifted Jasmine picture that if I can figure out how to scan and post, I will do so. Although, I don't have a birds eye view to include like this fine young man ...

They are something aren't they? My DW works fulltime, team mom's all of the kids sports and is scrapbook chair for the middle school that they attend. On top of taking care of the house, pets, kids and me.

Which spa you taking her to? I need to set mine up at Thanksgiving.

Saratoga Springs has a spa and a golf course.

We had Allegiant Air in Owensboro, KY for several months but they did not make it. They had non-stop flight to Orlando. Now, there is only one flight services - PacificWings - that is a 9 seater, single propeller plane, that flies to Nashville. When I went over and saw it, I thought about the Ron White (Blue Collar Comedy Tour) bit about the plane. I started laughing so hard, people started staring, and I told the jokes. They started laughing too. I did credit Ron White.

I think you guys went pretty light on the admission requirements, I not only tear up watching my guy having fun there, but tear up just thinking about him having fun on the next trip!

I moved down to Raleigh, NC from Canada in 2002 and we love it here. I was determined to take our son last year before he turned 3 (free) so in May we headed to POP Century for a week and when 2 months later the mouse sent us a "bounce back" offer we couldn't refuse. It did hurt that they didn't realize the little guy had turned 3 in the meantime so we headed back to All Star Sports in September. I think I realized we were hooked when we were on It's A Small World for what we determined to be the 20th time that trip and didn't even hesitate when my son asked to go on again. In April of this year we took the DVC plunge with AKV.

That's it in a nutshell, in 7 days we make the trip for the first time as a road trip for our comp stay at SSR. The best part is we haven't told him yet; I'm seriously thinking of waiting to see how far we are into the trip before he starts seeing billboards an putting two and two together.

Looking forward to many discussions with you guys! It's great to be among people who's first question isn't "Didn't you just go last year?"

By the way guys, I know we don't often talk about it, but I have to say I'm really impressed and proud of my wife.

My wife is a SAHM and sometimes I think that would be a great job, but then I realize how much work there actually is at home with the house and the kids and stuff and I figure I am much better off at work.

Even though this is a Dad's Clubs we should give some props to the ladies in our lives.

Gotta give props to DW. Also a SAHM and there is NO WAY I would ever consider taking that job!

Oh, and I, uh, got chased by Wadi Dogs (coyotes) while jogging last night Might have to start "packing" while I'm jogging

Started having some pain "a little low"....hernia...well, they thought I was on the next plane home, but the Surgeon out here says it's not that bad so I can't wait until I get home to have it.... my Saturday 8 mile runs are off though.

That's it! I'm not going to take up jogging! Like that was ever gonna happen anyway... Sorry to hear about it Fed. Hope that it gets better for you.
